No More Sunsingers In Raids
From here on out, I refuse to raid with any Sunsingers.... 99% of them are absolutely terrible. Relying on their self res as a crutch.
Edit: a lot of you stupid Sunsingers don't seem to understand that having a charged radiance the entire raid and not using it, is just as bad as the players who die all the time. You are literally useless. You don't generate a single orb for anyone else.
Edit 2: this is still going? Damn. Did I hit a nerve with the bad kids or something?
Edit 3: the problem with destiny right here. raids are supposed to be end game content. Not something everyone can do... But bungie has to cater to all the bad casuals who think they deserve to beat the raid.

How about instead of calling for the end of the Sunsinger, offer some advice in the raid. If there is a puddle of orbs on the ground, pop radiance. Who cares if you make only one orb, it's one more than there was, and if you die and self rez, all those orbs that you had disappear. Make an orb (or 7) and you'll get your radiance right back. At the start of Oryx, always have a Hunter tether, and have Warlocks clear the adds. Double/triple orbs. Everyone gets super back off the other supers. See? Helpful.

I run Sunsinger all the time and this can be really valuable in the challenge modes. If someone sucks, and relies on the self-res as a crutch, just boot them. To generalise that ALL Sunsingers suck is stupid. But hey, if childish overgeneralizations are your thing, you've landed in the right place: Destiny forums.

If you cant agree to everyone being able to finish the raid then don't play this game... This game is not for you.. Why is it so hard for people to have a beer and just chill and play this game the way its supposed to be played.. Everyone is too much of a damn try hard..

If I run sunsinger? I still use my super for orbs. Never really need the Rez anyway.

When I said sunsinger I always purposely take the hit from the shade on oryx and self res, maybe everyone would have lived through it, but a lot of the time someone dies. I use storm caller on golgoroth for add control, although those orbs don't help anyone anyway. /shrugs it seems to help people

1 ReplyYour right sunsinger its useless I never use it because I never die and Titans and hunters always die causing us to wipe anyways so what's the point in using it. Titans and hunters need a self Rez or need to learn to stay alive during the raid.

So regardless I've always got self rez for those "save the fire team" moments and can still use radiance throughout.

I mostly USD my sunsinger but not because I'm bad, its just kind of a safety because I slip up every once in a while or if someone is about to die, I'll try and take the big for them. If someone asks me to change for the purpose of the fight I'll do so, I get that a lot on Golgoroth, we need a stormcaller so I'll change. Really just need sunbreaker on oryx because during the shade round I will take the hit.
