Ok so I'm tired of seeing post after post of people trying to nerf stormcaller
NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT
Range isn't that far like everyone exaggerates it to be
It's a lot easier to kill a stormcaller than most other supers (shotgun melee or a sniper shot to the head)
Iconic blink, so bd is aloud to have blink but we can't have something that for one we can only use while in super and for two really isn't super effective.
And for the titans bitching about SC, warlocks tried to defend your sunbreaker before the nerf. AND before the nerf you even agreed that storm caller was a balanced subclass. But NOW that your subclass got nerfed you are trying to take warlocks down so you can try to be superior.
I have just come to the conclusion that hunters and titans fear us warlocks...

It's the duration that's crazy. My friend can always kill most to all of the enemies off of two different points with it.

2 RepliesMy only problem with the super is the duration, I had one kill me once, then I spawned in and got killed by it again, and then spawned back in when I finally saw the super end. It was my fault for dying, but it shouldn't last that long! I also don't like landfall a whole lot, because I feel it's just a mini fist of Havoc, that gets you kills, [u]without using super energy[/u]. I also have a small problem with quiver on night stalker, Hunters get three roaming supers, quiver just makes shadow shot a mini golden gun. Ps. This is coming from a guy that uses all three classes.

Lol I'm a hunter main and I say leave SC as is. I can gun you guys down 9/10 times. Super easy to win against if you just plan for it. Nova bomb is more OP.

2 RepliesStormcaller can hit a Titan at the top of its jump with increased height on from the ground. It needs a nerf to range and transcendence shouldn't basically double your super

Well I mean ionic blink is good with that one perk that let's your super go away slower, transcendence I think, then it just takes a little bit away with each one.

4 RepliesI just want shadow shot to tether on hit and not have a delay or have a proximity detention. Then I would be all for having Sunbreakers un nerfed.

Bungie will nerf it next update I'm sure. All they do is nerf this by 10 buff that 2.

Personally, not one super should be able to dance across any map 2 or 3 times killing multiple targets over and over again. Smaller maps are a nightmare when a good Stormcaller knows spawn points. Sunbreaker (post nerf), golden gun, Shadow shot, bladedancer, sunsinger, not one can circle a map for the duration of storm caller. The perk tree should sacrifice duration for durability or vice versa... But, that's the issue with the current perk tree system...

I use all 3 classes and on my warlock I used to use a lot of SC and from behind the drivers wheel yes it does seem balanced however, when you face it yourself it's a whole other story. I'm not saying it needs a range or an armour debuff, I think the class dmg output should rely on how many enemies are being chained. It should reach the dmg it's at now at about 3 enemies in chaining range anything below you lose some dps anything above you gain dps, I think this would better set SC as the CC class.

Either nerf duration to 14/18s w/wo transcendence OR increase lightning energy drain. Everything else is just unfair/unbalanced.

I do agree with ya and yes I main a warlock I think the issues with it are from people that like to fight at close range, and it can be a pain when the person using it is lagging

8 RepliesWith ionic blink and transcendence and landfall it is insane, you get a fist of havoc that will kill you instantly (and if it doesn't you go blind), landfall also goes through the top of a bubble and kills the titan (removing the bubble), after landfall you get 23 seconds of blinking ranged killing with an armor boost.

The reason titans agreed that SC was balanced before the patch was that in comparison to pre-patch sunbro it was balanced. Now it's not and SC is very very strong. Arguably OP. Jus saiyan, duration, charge ability, full heal on activation, landfall... range (far more than u give it credit for as i've been zapped the distance of both charges of my Twilight Garrison + 20ft). Their neutral game is also far better than sunbros considering their melee has the longest reach in the game and their nades are not all as bad as people make them out to be (seen more quads with storm nade than tripmine). They could use some fine tuning for sure.
