WHo wants their elemental guns back

I missed them for a little while but now realize how much variety in guns it opens up. Year 1 I literally used Fate bringer and Vision for 90% of my PvE simply due to the elementals. Now I can use whatever primary I want for the most part and still be doing near optimal performance. Also I feel it makes you pull out your special/heavy more to burn down shields then finish them off with a primary

1 ReplyI think that more exotic primaries should have elemental damage. I don't need the legendary ones back though.

Me! I loved being able to outfit my Void Word of Crota, my Fire Invective, and my Arc Jolder's Hammer. Never hurts to be prepared for anything... I guess I can still do that with Zhalo and two other guns, but there are fewer options involved.

3 RepliesDon't worry. Bungie directly stated that elemental primaries were being discontinued. Naturally that means they'll be back in the near future.

I prefer non elemental firefly over elemental firefly because if I use it near a bunch of Hive, their bodies will be littered around the floor without disintegrating, a problem Minecraft skinners like me have if they make Hive skins.

2 RepliesMe. Removing elemental primaries entirely was not the answer. Introducing some kind of consumable that allows us to apply our elemental damage of choice to a weapon would be great. Keep asking. Eventually Bungie will make it happen.

Meh. Without Nightfall burns, I'm totally indifferent. The elemental primaries were nice but now that there are very few situations that require a particular elemental, they're kind of obsolete. Move forward, Guardians. Leave the past in the past.

Signed. Elemental primaries as top tier rewards just makes sense. Disbanding them was one of Bungie's worst ideas yet.

Edited by D34N0000: 12/25/2015 4:30:43 PMNope. I hated people checking my weapons before nightfalls. Making sure I've the right set up for the burn. F**k! right! off! I prefer using what I want with the exception of heavy for the high damage enemys. The way people used to get on it was like the nightfalls were impossible to do without 9 weapons that matched the burn. But that's the destiny community. Look at the raids now. Even thought we've been beating it since 290 light or so. You've to be 315+ now lol. Rediculous

I still use them on nightfall a and heroic strikes. Can still be 300 with then

6 RepliesCongratulations! You collected 50/50 calcified fragments! Go on down to eris morn and you get to pick [b]1[/b] element and you are able to put it on [b]1[/b] of your weapons. To bad this would never happen :(
