The counter is other heavy, a super, or well timed snipe or shotgun blast.

When a poll back fires lol. Heavy weapons are exactly that. Heavy and over powered like they're meant to be. That's why you only get heavy ammo 2-3 times a match.

Maybe if you were good, you'd get the heavy ammo and use it.

2 RepliesThey already nerfed the amount of heavy available in the game (ex - you kill someone with heavy and you no longer get their heavy) also they stealth nerfed the amount of rockets you get in heavy round even with "extra rockets" perk. Now everyone knows when heavy is coming and a lot of people (like me) try to remove heavy from the board by supering people picking it up. Heavy is fine.

Other. I don't find myself in the pvp space very often but I can't recall a time when heavy ever felt OP. I'd say it's fine as is.

C'mon man. Heavy ammo drops add a lot of strategy to the game. Should you go for your own or try and stop the opposing team. If you can accomplish both by preventing them from getting heavy and your team getting it then you have a good advantage and you should. Both teams have an equal chance at it. Getting heavy can help a team catch back up or extend their lead but honestly it doesn't last long and they can still be killed rather quickly by working together. The only real issue I have seen is during three man encounters where if the opposite team gets it and you don't you could be in trouble but that is how the cookie crumbles. Also to repeat what someone else said, that is what supers are for. Again more strategy.

1 ReplyHeavy weapons are OP?? Have you ever been smashed by a teammate on a sparrow in PvE??? It's TOTALLY OP, one hit kill nonsense. Bungie please Nerf sparrows to be a 2 hit kill. This will give guardians ample time to find cover and avoid these manic fire team members as they look to smash our delicate guardian parts all over outer space!!!! NERF SPARROWS NOW!!!!!
