Not a fan of the New Crucible Meta
After playing for the last few days, it seems that 1000 Yard Stare with TLW/MIDA are the most popular weapons in the new meta. And this makes the game feel more passive ... almost boring. Basically, snipers hard-scoping traffic lanes, then cleaning up kills with a quick switch to the Mida/TLW. I honestly preferred the blink/shotgun meta to this. At least that was fun.
Just to clarify, I am[b] [i]not[/i] [/b]calling for a nerf. The MIDA is one of the most balanced guns in the game and rewards accurate players. It is probably my favourite weapon. It just kinda sucks when everyone uses the same weapons.
[b]Edit 1:[/b] Thanks for all the comments. Fun stuff. And to those calling me a hypocrite for using the MIDA and 1000 yard stare, well if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. [spoiler]Actually, I've used MIDA practically since launch and I'm peeved that everyone else is using her now. [/spoiler]
[b]Edit 2: [/b] Okay, so [i]The Party Crasher +1[/i] is a good shotgun. Had a lot of fun with it today. Works well with old blink shotgun style, but you should play a little more carefully, and get in as close as possible for the kill. Also the [i]Havoc Pigeon[/i] is a great sidearm if you know how to use it well.
[b]Edit 3: [/b] I think people should just trying playing with other weapons for fun. Always seem to end up in sweaty matches.

I could go into a pub match and whack some noobs and take it easy. Now? Now I have to put my tryhard pants on in order to stay competitive in a pub match. (No I don't snipe I've specialized in close quarters combat) I personally don't like that. But hey milk has already spilled and crying over it won't help.

The problem is all of these "balances". The best option is go back to Vanilla meta.

Honestly in my opinion the whole year 2 is kind of boring. I lost the reason to keep playing raids, nightfalls, and strikes. The rng system just straight up sucks and no gun in year two feels good except for year 2 versions of year 1 weapons.

2 RepliesWe need diferents style of crucible playlist and combine them with clash, control, rift, mayhame, etc. 1. Primaries only 2. Shoty/sniper only like halo 3. Supers and abilities only Those are some examples.

This meta does suck ass, no fun at all. Just stay 1000 yards away and shoot them with your high aim assist weapon
