Bladedancers. What the hell did they do to us?
Anyone else having these issues with their Bladedancer?
Arc Blade hits not registering. I've literally hit someone 3 times before they finally die.
Grenades feel underwhelming and lack killing potential.
You're ripped to pieces while in your super. I've been massacred lately while in my super.
Blink seems extremely unresponsive and difficult to use.
What's going on here? The Bladedancer used to be my favorite class. Why is it every patch it seems like Bladedancers are getting worse thanks to bugs and over nerfed abilities. This doesn't bode well for the future =(
*Edit* lots of great responses! Glad to see the community mostly agrees on this subject. We've been done a major injustice lately but with the Titan nerfs and all the recent changes I can't complain much. I mostly want my hits to register a kill that's the biggest issue. Thanks everyone!

Massacred while in super... kinda like the sunbreakers now. They did need a nerf but damn it seemed a bit much. Plus I've hit bladedancers in their super with a hammer and never killed them. It's rough out there. Hopefully whatever issues blade dancers are having get fixed man.

In year 1 we laid low to see the Hunter-Warlock wars. We pretended to be weak. We pretended to stay quiet. Now in year 2 we have been granted gifts of the SUN! It is now to fight the tired and beaten hunters and warlocks. Hunters are now not only fighting only warlocks and the newly dreaded titans, but they have also engaged In a civil war. The mature hunters can cope with the new onslaught of warlocks with the "aid" of titans, the less mature and more susceptible cannot. The lower class hunters cry nerf, while the uppers try to quiet them down. The damage is already done to their reputation and is getting worse. The warlocks are allies with titans, but momentary. Our powers match, everything they do, we can do. With fresh new troops and their beaten and battered troops, TITANS UNITE! [spoiler] titan inspiration speech...not hating on any classes, just stating the truth[/spoiler]

Then TTK came out and something broke Arcblade. It's hit detection is garbage now, you shortstop after every swing instead of doing the 3 swing combo it used to do, and vertical tracking basically doesn't work anymore.

Edited by DeadlyMenace: 12/21/2015 2:05:33 AMThe only time I use blade dancer is to clear a bounty. Weak as shît in pve now, a whole super needed to kill a yellow bar enemy. Void is now my favourite, I used to main the warlock but void hunter seems to be my main recently.

My only real gripe is what they did to their grenades. They pretty much make the class worthless for the way I play.

Yeah ... I've noticed this. Just came back to Destiny after a break and it seems that the Hunter has been nerfed into the dust while the Titans and Warlocks are little demigods on the battlefield. The only good thing the hunter had was blade dance and blink shotgun .... and they took it all away. *cries salty tears*

They nerfed it so bad that it's almost useless , and when you think you killed someone they didn't die or die later , These days I struggle to get 3 kills or more . Year one was the glory days for we hunters , and now we're crap :(

It took me three Arc Blade hits to kill someone, and in that time they were able to kill me. Serious BS.

3 RepliesEnded up using recently for the sword quest in PvP ended up with 2.0 kda average. Don't know what your talking bout seems fine to me. I still find my hunter climbing stairs to kill airborn people. I've gotten multiple gutted with time left. You just might not be good with it or don't know when to use your super. Blink feels fine all the grenades too, though arcbolt could use a slight dmg buff.

8 Replies3 things to make blade dancer better 1) make blade dancer last 10 seconds normally 2) remove ENCORE and HUNGERING BLADE from perk tree and give them to the super naturally 3) take away all armor from blade dancer and make the hunter 2x current agility during super the ultimate melee super but the weakest overall 4) bonus change mask of third man to give 6x melee damage while in blade dancer (not needed in PVP but very helpful in PVE)
