2 RepliesMaybe if I wanted to change the looks of one of my charactets. Saves me 8 hours, but that's only because I would rather spend that time in end game. My time is valuable and 30$ for 8 hours is cheap if you really think about it, maybe that's just me though.

Considering that all three of my characters are already well beyond level 25, I see no real reason to.

19 RepliesThis is what I don't understand about the community they cry about things being adding in the game that does not effect them. Pretty much everyone on here has a fully levelled character and knows how easy to get from 1-25. I bet most people have a 2 or 3 characters so why does this booster pack that's clearly aimed at new players annoy them?

Day one player here, so of course I wouldnt. But I do see the appeal to a new player........back when I was leveling my characters, there was just nightfall & weekly that required a certain level to play & everyone was in the same boat. For a new player, it must seem like they can't do anything in the game except grind levels, since now, there's tons of stuff to do in the game that's restricted by level & it must seem like you are so far behind everyone, it's probably frustrating for a player who's new to destiny.

Why would I.... I have 6 characters across 2 console, and have even deleted to and started fresh... It takes absolutely no time at all to rank up and £25 is totally over priced

For that price it should get you to level 40 and fully rank up all 3 subclasses. Ridiculous.

People keep comparing this to how WoW does things and let me explain why that is a terrible argument: In WoW when they boost you to the recommended level for the new expansion it is something that would usually take weeks or even months to get to playing as an average player (2-4 hours a day). It is nothing like Destiny where you can get your super and grenades then jump into crucible. Seriously, even a new player could bang out level 25 in a couple of hours. Same with a subclass tree. Literately, by the time you would hit 25 you would already have 25 of the 27 nodes unlocked. It might take about 10-15 hours total to get to level 40 and by that time you already have 1 completed subclass and one subclass that is part way finished.

1 Replyif I ever delete a character I again, I might consider it. I used the one that came with TTK when I made my Warlock. I still went through the year 1 content to level to 40, but my 1st subclass is still half way done. decent time saver if you've got the spare coin.
