LOL at SRL Tryhard Scrubs
So I've been playing a LOT of SRL, right? Very rarely do i miss the top 3. The first two days, all was good. Mostly clean matches.
But today, I logged in to find almost everyone slamming people around, and even more shocking is the lack of tricks! I'm over here pulling off Superman triple back flips and quad barrel rolls, but very rarely do I see anyone even doing Can Cans! Tricks are rarer the further up you move in position.
Tldr: this boring ass tryhard straight racing is ugly. Flavor it up a bit! Have some[b] FUN![/b]

I figure as long as I don't have to place for a bounty I'm just gonna durdle. No point in aggravating myself when loot odds are even across the board.

The relaxed are there for fun. And the assholes, you know who you are, you're the ones who push and shove others around to win. They're the ones I over take at the next corner and beat them. Update: I just got shoved out of 4 gates In a row.

People seem to push me about with ease,if I try it it's like hitting a brick wall.i did notice no one else was doing tricks aswell.

I hold the group record for finishing Venus in 4:03.5 :) However, you're right! Trying all the time can be lame. That's why we randomly do things like finishing a race backwards or some shit. Still. You need to suck it up. Of course people want to win. Just chill man. If you have a problem with winning, you shouldn't care if you're not winning.

1 ReplyWhat I'm doing to spice things up is abusing the overdrive on time breaker. You clear the pack at the start to avoid the mosh pit and can get some clutch wins when you go for the suicide boost right at the end. Winning by 0.002 seconds is much more satisfying than the 10+ seconds you can get from the tumbler master race.

I've played lots & lots of racing games over the years & for a good bit of my gaming career, that's pretty much all I played. But, people are learning the tracks & how to play & the races get tougher to win as time goes on. But I just ignore the people who are just bumping and hitting all the time. I let them use up all their energy trying to hit me, and I use mine to take turns faster & hit gates..
