LOL at SRL Tryhard Scrubs
So I've been playing a LOT of SRL, right? Very rarely do i miss the top 3. The first two days, all was good. Mostly clean matches.
But today, I logged in to find almost everyone slamming people around, and even more shocking is the lack of tricks! I'm over here pulling off Superman triple back flips and quad barrel rolls, but very rarely do I see anyone even doing Can Cans! Tricks are rarer the further up you move in position.
Tldr: this boring ass tryhard straight racing is ugly. Flavor it up a bit! Have some[b] FUN![/b]

Alright people. I want a clean race with absolutely no pushing and shoving! Don't hit each other AT ALL. OR GET TO FIRST PLACE! ANY MEANS NECESSARY! What sounds better? I'd take the dirty match because it makes races a LOT harder, and hilarious. -[i]The guy with no house.[/i]

First two days, won every race. Started playing again over the weekend and all the bad kids realized how shitty it was and stopped playing, only the kids trying their hearts out are left. If this shit didn't drop 320 helmets I would have never played it. -blam!- you bungie for making the hardest piece of gear to get drop from srl.

2 RepliesTried doing tricks for the bounty but they were not registering so stopped attempting them. Try hard scrub, that's me :o), still figuring out the best lines and upgrading the lift/lower nose helmet, not to mention those darn Mars wheels, Venus is a whole other problem. I have noticed a lot more feral players bumping and side slipping, it is getting nasty.

1 ReplyLove the term "tryhard"... As if you don't actually want to win the game that you're competitively playing. Michael Jordan was the true tryhard. Dude was always sweating and exhausted. Pffft I would never try and win, I just like thinking I'm better than everyone else because I don't try.

I'm. Sewing a fair bit of boosting now. Along with posts asking for help to boost on log.

Learn to use the brakes. Squeeze gently. You will smash into the wall and others a lot less. I see a lot of races that seem to run the whole race with full throttle and never using the brakes!

10 RepliesI try to do tricks....the issue is if the game wants to respond to the comands or not. I can hit the d-pad 10 times and only get a trick about 20% of the time. My favorite is when i go off a big jump and my character points....

1 ReplyIts sparrow "racing" look up the rules and goals of racing. This isn't r&b free style ssx tricky on GameCube. Players goal is to finish 1st.

4 RepliesAm I the only person who cont figure out how to bump if I try to bump I either end up going over the other person or spinning. In the end I just try not to bump and it's not much of a problem, but I really don't get how people mange to bump on purpose.
