•
Bud, just admit you're wrong and stfu.
1. I'm not your bud sister 2. Where do I ever produce any answer to any question? No where. So what am I wrong about? 3. I bet you have no clue what the law of cosines is without looking it up. After my Theoretical Mechanics-Statics class I have that memorized. 4. Thx for showing your true intelligence ;-))

  • Are you done intellectually fellating yourself because you think your inclusion of some vague and superfluous course has any effect upon whether or not your argument finds purchase? Congratulations, you took a course, you're still wrong. Perhaps if you weren't so puerile, and such an over the top sciolist, you would understand that taking a course does not allow you exemption from being wrong, just as it does make you right on every occasion. So go spread your insipid drivel somewhere else where you can spread your misconstrued information to chav manky tossers, so you can pat yourself on the back and think you're oh so witty and intelligent when they agree with you. But here, love, no one's going to take the word of a bell end over that of a calculator.

Statics is an engineering math that you obviously have no clue what it is. It was required to attain my degree as a Civil Engineer. Anyone who has taken basic trig knows what the law of cosines is (which you have shown you do not) and knows that it is very easy to screw up larger equations on a calculator. It's obvious you never reached the intelligence to take those classes or you would know something as basic as this. Your rebuttal had absolutely no substance pertaining to you trying to prove I am wrong. Again I ask, do you know the law of cosines? Or are you using a calculator that is programmed in Reverse Polish Notation? Do you even know what RPN is? I'll wait while you look those up

Allow me to demonstrate this to you, in a simple term you will understand -Person A says auspicious means favourable. Fair enough. -Person B says it means loveable. -Person A takes out dictionary and shows person B that auspicious does indeed mean favourable. -Person B gets defensive and starts yelling about irrelevant things, and how he majored in English, and that the dictionary is wrong. -Person A gets a different dictionary, which states then, that auspicious still means favourable. -Person B gets angrier and starts spewing pretentious drivel that once again, has no relevance to the conversation. You understand that? Now I get it's all very scary to you, and this may be your first time being wrong, but that's life. Now, you would be correct if the equation was 6/(2•(1+2)) but the key is in the setup of the equation itself. 6/2(1+2) 3(3) =9 6/(2•(1+2)) 6/(2(3)) 6/(6) =1 Parenthesis make all the difference. Now, if I did the second one wrong, correct me. But I would certainly hope you would do so with tact, and at least a modicum of humility.

Maybe you should read my original post slower so you can comprehend it better. Did I once say you were wrong on this problem or any problem? Nope. So why bring it up? Because you either have an ego or a problem with comprehension. All I said was you should not trust your calculator. Which caused you to get butthurt and go off on a tangent (opp/adj). But it is very amusing ;-)) Now, if you are going to respond to my reply, could you atleast stay on its topic?

  • So in essence, your reply was redundant, and irrelevant, and I'm a fool for assuming you were staying on topic?

  •
So in essence, your reply was redundant, and irrelevant, and I'm a fool for assuming you were staying on topic?
Merely making an observation to your overly confident reply. Isn't that how conversation start? Normally on one subject and changing to others as you progresss? Or do yours merely stay the same?

We weren't debating whether or not you should trust your calculator. He said 6/2 (1+2)=1. It isn't. That was the whole debate, until you interjected with your pointless comments.

He said 6/2 (1+2)=1 That was the whole debate, until you started off on this whole calculator subject.
I merely made an observational comment about not trusting your calculator. You are the one that went off on a tangent because you failed to comprehend what I had said in the first place.

  • Because I assumed your comment was implying that the calculator was wrong in such an instance. Clearly you lack the acuity to understand why such a comment could be interpreted as such, when one is arguing over a math equation.

You will fail if you trust your calculator. Try plugging in the law of cosines. If done incorrectly you will get different answers" No assuming or reading between the lines here. If you trust your calculator, you will fail. You can keep trying to turn this on me it's amusing. You are the one that failed to comprehend.

  • How do I phrase this so you can get it through your head? When I am having a debate about a mathematical equation, and it's answer, and you tell me that you can't trust a calculator, where in there does it not imply that I'm wrong? Reading between the lines has nothing to do with this. Though you can't grasp this because your reply makes perfect sense to you, because you wrote it. Additionally, I might ask: you do know that you can erase the previous persons comment right? You don't need to include it in every reply, and accidentally quote your entire comment.
