Sparrow racing is your BIG announcement for destiny... No new DLC to come, no new maps? You still haven't even released all the content that was supposed to be in TTK (basically 6 months later, since we had factual info on a what was to come dlc related) yet you want this game to actually last 10 years?
You started off by cutting content and then releasing it as DLC, you finally make an actual add on with a half decent story and then you time gate half of its items, and have yet to even announce the rest of this year for destiny?
What kind of shitty 10 year plan are you trying to roll with?
Edit: Did i call it or did i call it? yep no more raids, no new dlc, just a bunch of shit timed quest events like h-ween is our year.
Bungie finally provided ONE decent dlc and then think its too much with their $500Mil budget for the destiny franchise to even keep their 2x expansions a year true.

Bungie tried to be everything to everyone and eventually realised they could not manage this. The shit has happend, the contact ends in 5 year, therefore Destiny ends in 5 years. We have time for Destiny 2 and Destiny 3 with a big expansion for each and a few "events" or mini DLC perhaps.

Just think it as this way, bungie will see that their user base will drop off in the coming months and realize that if they don't do anything, destiny will be forgotten. I play the game because I enjoy it, but there come a time (could be suddenly) that I find another game that will have a grasp on me and Destiny will be just another game on my shelf. There's no point in stressing, getting angry, or be disappointed by it.

3 RepliesHere's the thing: if something isn't announced by February, we definitely aren't getting anything new until Y3. Mainly because E3 is in June(right?) and the Bungie Hype Machine will be in full swing for when it's released in Fall2016. I'll bet $100 Y3 has a season pass too

3 RepliesYou seem really stressed about this. Have you tried playing another game? I understand you may not be able to afford another game like F04 or COD etc as you have invested your savings into Destiny, but it seems in your case, as most of use are happy with the announcement, things aren't going to get any better for you. If i were you, i would cut my losses and start writing up your 'I Quit' post for that touch of closure. It just seems unhealthy to be this passionately upset with a game on a daily basis. Have you tried funding and developing your own game? It's a huge undertaking, but that might be an idea to look into. Be the change you want to see in there world. I hope I've helped you with a few ideas to relieve the pressure and I hope things work out for you :)

6 RepliesAs I've said many times now, for playstation TTK has timed exclusives until fall 2016. I doubt we will get a dlc before destiny 2 just a bunch of events like the Halloween event and now sparrow racing. Of course can't forget IB.

1 Reply10 year plan? Kid they even stated themselves there is no 10 year plan, there is a plan for a 10 year franchise. Franchise could mean anything destiny related, like what halo did with all the side games that kinda tie into the main games.

How do you get 6 months from that? They announced ttk 6 months ago yes. I stopped reading when I realized you don't know how a calendar works.
