Edit: I would like to thank all the people who respectfully commented. I don't mind if you think differently about the nerf as long as you are not a jerk about it.
Edit 2: wow!! Over 200 comments!
Edit 3: over 300!!! Woohoo!! Keep it going guys!! :)
Edit 4: 500 overnight!!! Wow!
Edit 5: 600?!?!? I can't believe it! It seems like the majority think that the sunbreaker nerf was fine. We will see.
Edit 6: how is sunbreaker overpowered if I can fight two of them kill one and survive the other? Btw this was pre nerf
Edit 7: I just direct hit a warlock and he didn't die!! I think that's enough proof that it was an overboard nerf. Also the warlock didn't have a super or shield. Just a plain warlock that survived a point-blank hammer.

Titan main. No surprise

3 RepliesFunny how they nerfed striker because everyone was complaining and now they nerf sunbreaker because of the same thing but now buff striker. Wtf bungie
-
1 ReplyI think it's good that the other titan classes got buffed a little, I think that's what people should really look into.

4 RepliesEdited by D1ll0n_FST: 12/8/2015 7:29:55 AMTitan Main No it was not overboard. Do I agree or want it to happen? No. Did it need to happen? Yes. A .5 meter melee range buff isn't a lot but it has been needed and is a great help, though it may not be too noticeable. Catapult buff? I never use this jump, control is waay better. The 1 second cut off from the burn melee is nothing, it was able to one shot with thermal vent. Literally one second, and is no issue. A 10% armor reduction was needed, I think it was stupid to not have golden gun kill you. Also sniper head shots like all supers, however I think it is not a good idea in general to have that. But still makes sunbreakers easier to manage. A 1% hammer travel time? You think that is overboard? It is OOONNNNEEE Cauterize getting a 3 second cool down? Not a problem. Still able to run around 26 seconds, 15 while throwing your hammers right, getting cauterize to activate between that. Flameseeker does nothing Splash radius isn't bad, still more hammers I see agility, recover, armor buffs? HUGE striker buff? Small, but needed defender buff? Fu ck you, don't need you ruining these forums

7 RepliesEdited by Ryomen Sukuna: 12/8/2015 12:46:58 PMI feel as if removing cauterize would make Sunbreakers easier for the little kiddies to kill. Sunbro's aren't very difficult to kill. I think this nerf is overboard.
i main a hunter.
2 RepliesEdited by Kdog Frags You: 12/8/2015 1:50:57 AMAs a PVP guy the nerf is almost nonexistent. I still just flee when I see one because they are unkillable death machines. Like always. It's all good though. Strongest super in the game imo.

1 Replynow hit me with everything u have but um sunbreaker op bi tch plz u can easily run away or team kill a sunbreaker can u do the same to a stormtrance with its super active as it chain lighting threw ur team have u ever ran away from one around the corner if u have ur lieing
-
At least we have a chance now. How many times have you almost killed a Sunbreaker with your primary only to have him regenerate his health instantly and turn around and whoop you in the face?
-
2 RepliesI am surprised it isn't worse. They are only addressing two of the things people complained about. They didn't nerf how long it lasted or how many hammers you can throw, but I think this nerf will be a good one. ( yes I main a titan) I really don't care about sunbreaker but striker baby !!!!!!!!!!
-
Oh I'm sorry did you participate in the test build for the patch that isn't live yet, or are you just whining about how you thinl this may possible turn out without having any experience with it?
-
3 RepliesIt takes two golden gun shots to kill a sun breaker... That's fcked
-
Nah wasn't good enough, I'll still be able to make hunters cry with my eyes closed for 30 seconds of every match. Sadly the rest of the match my poor gun skill and overall scrubbieness will more than make up for it.
-
Justice my friend.... justice.
-
Looking at the stats makes it sound like a big nerf, but it won't be
-
3 RepliesThe only major nerf is the about 9% nerf to armor
-
It is still to little
-
11 RepliesQuit complaining, at least it's -blam!-ing killable by everything now.
-
Better get your striker Titan game up sunbro lol

7 RepliesEdited by BoomerSooner51: 12/7/2015 10:05:00 PMMaybe someone with a background in advanced statistics can explain to me how Sunbreakers with their 1.06 KD ratio is OP and needs to be nerfed to bring it closer to 1.0KD ratio. This is all found here. To me, the difference between 1.06 and 1.00KD ratios seems negligible. We are talking a difference of 6 kills per 100 kills. The Dev team even said:
Give other players a glimmer of hope standing against a Solar Titan in PvP.
Dude, Sunbreakers are averaging a 1.06KD ratio. That seems incredibly reasonable and balanced. Maybe somebody smarter than me can explain how Sunbreakers are OP based on a 1.06 KD ratio. If we use that same 1.06KD Ratio metric, can't we then say that any player with a 1.06KD Ratio or greater is OP? And shouldn't they then need to nerf these players?
-
Oh gosh the nerf seems way overdone, Bungie needs to truly test their games before they pump it out.
-
I'm still going to have no problem wrecking with it.

When people block the authors profile lmfao

1 ReplyIn raids and such I found the sunbreaker melting enemies which created openings for my team and in crucible I personally saved it for those close moments when I'm outnumbered or when victory can go either way the sunbreaker as I describe it is the hope for victory for your allies and the dread of defeat for the enemy that being said I will hold my judgement until after the nerf takes effect

Honestly titans NEEDED more than a slight nerf, i think this will fix a lot of problems people are having with titans.
