No explanation needed....
Edit - Wow, I posted this because my buddy and I got a laugh out of joking about this last night. Even joked about the strange-sobriety-coin...
I figured most everyone would get a laugh out of this - Apparently I was mistaken....
To those who saw the joke for what it was - Thanks!!
As far as going through the forums - hell, I'll be honest, I'm hoping to read about some great change - Alas, that has not happened...
As far as deleting my characters - Are you insane? This game might begin to not suck and become fun again in the future - I hope to see that one day...
Edit 2 - Now 24 days - Apparently I was off and the last time I played was 09 Nov. Oh, and by the way - Reading the forums is tons different from actually playing the game. I read quite a few different forums daily - it's what I do - I like to be entertained. Lately the Fallout 4 Reddit stuff has been my latest fascination.
Secondly, I probably spent about 10 minutes reading the responses to this post and typing up this edit - that is nothing compared to the hours/days I've spent raiding/strikes/etc for little or no reward. I've gained far more satisfaction/entertainment from this post and reading some pretty funny comments and yes, of course, the multitude of moronic responses as well.
So when I say "Destiny Sober" it's because I don't feel compelled to "play the game" anymore (yes, the literal game itself and the metaphorical Bungie-Fockery "Game" - pun intended). And it's a good feeling - Anyone and Everyone who has spent any substantial amount of time in this game can relate to the concept that this is an extremely time-consuming game - dare I say "grindy" - Hence, I jokingly allude to Destiny being an "addiction" and state that I'm "sober" - do you get it?
For the folks with the fun comments - You guys are awesome! Thanks for playing along! For the haters, fanboys, and the trolls - Seriously, guys, chill out - it's just a game, right?
