Crota is literally impossible to kill.

I've been so busy playing all the Taken King content recently. There's been SO much to do. From court of oryx to the new raid, my hands have been full. After giving raiding a break, I decided to do a few quests. One of those being the No Time To Explain questline. As many of you know, part of this quest requires you to go through the vault of glass to kill Atheon. We didnt have much trouble with that other than the part with the invincible white harpies. We kept trying to kill them and didnt know you just ran past. Of course, I completed that, finally getting an Atheon kill. This got me thinking about Crota. He seemed easy enough by the way a lot of people talk. That night, I gathered a fireteam together of all my friends that bought the game in September. We set course in our ships towards the moon. When we landed, we all jumped into the big hole like in the trailer. We quickly learned that's wrong and it didn't take us long to figure out you just stand in the circle. We all jumped down and most of us died when we hit the ground. I don't know how 2 stayed alive but it was probably because they had lightweight or something on. The next part wasn't that hard. The storm caller activated his super and just killed thrall all the way to the top while we followed behind. Building the bridge at the top was a real pain but we finally made it across after 1 or 2 wipes. The end of the bridge was pretty hard, however. We kept getting lost in the bright light and couldn't find our way through. We looked up a video on how to do the bridge part. The hardest part was jumping to the top of the tower. I don't know who at bungie thought it would be a good idea to make a jumping puzzle along the rock wall when you can't even see where to jump. We stood at the top of the tower and the bridge formed for us to cross over. The other side was a walk in the park. A few sniper shots and the ogres were dead. The big long hallway proved to be the most tedious part of the raid so far. If we managed to kill the shriekers, their blast killed us and if the blast didn't get us, a cursed thrall did. There was a door at the end of the hallway that probably had something hidden behind it. We're gonna go back to explore that area to try to open that door on a different occasion. The next part is what really stumped us for a long time. We killed adds for several minutes before our screens started flashing, signaling a countdown. At the end of the countdown we would all just die. We assumed we weren't killing the adds fast enough so we started using rockets and stuff to clear them out. After several failed attempts, we all decided to just look at a video. Once we got the strategy down, it only took 3 tries to finally kill the deathsinger. Then... there was crota. We shot at him and his health would never move. There was a bar above his health that we assumed was an adrenaline bar. As we shot at him, the adrenaline bar would lower but immediately shot back up to full. After about two hours of trying new stuff, we eventually got him to crouch down from being out of energy. We all celebrated. Within seconds however, he stood back up.... seemingly untouched. Our celebration ended in tears coming from one of the fireteam members. He said he couldn't go on. We were all frustrated. Crota is easily the most difficult boss to date. People complain about pulse rifles and sunbreakers needing nerfed. How about Crota bungie? Is this something that's been addressed? The gorgons have finally met their match. You can at least damage a gorgon before it kills you.
