You're getting the boot.
Every time I do the raid there's some turd who drops in via lfg who immediately asks how many people have Touch of Malice, as though the raid is impossible without it.
First of all, I do believe the raid was completed many a time before anyone even had that gun.
Secondly, the person who asks this question is always the one who ends up dying on their platform while the runner is torn and trying to grab the relic.
If you have decent light level I really don't give a shit what weapons you have, as long as you can hit the broad side of a barn that is Oryxs gaping chest hole, and detonate the ogre orb that you're supposed to.
Rant over.
Edit: Why is this trending this is something I posted before I went to sleep last night. I'm just glad everyone focused on my raid completions and not how many times I haven't completed. Way to stay positive guys! :D
Edit 2: Shoutout to all the nerds who have nothing better to do but look me up on destiny tracker to dig up all this info on how often I play this game. You're the real heroes today.
Edit 3: btw I'm playing the hard raid rn if anyone wants to join

Edited by argo206: 12/9/2015 6:06:47 PMI just assume everyone that's competent has ok weapons. If you're the idiot with a shotgun and a pulse rifle at oryx you better believe you're getting the boot. Edit: I see you have ToM equipped. Good choice.
-
What boot? Jordans? Or do I have to say WHAT ARE THOOOOSE?
-
2 RepliesI stick to groups that ask for ToM & emblems.....by doing that I knock out 3 hard RAIDS every Tuesday and can go back to playing other games......IM LOOKING AT YOU WITCHER 3!!! Funny thing is most of those groups only put those requirements up to scare off scrubs looking to be carried.
-
I suppose some of them could be asking out of elitism. Others could be asking because that, combined with average group LL and attack power can determine if it is better to 2 cycle or 3 cycle the daughters. For oryx...whatever.
-
I could care less about who has tom. As long as you get it done. I was in a group last night that destroyed orynx so fast using sleeper stimulant. This was hard mode btw.
-
2 RepliesIdiot. If u have no malice your a lazy casual and I don't want to raid with u. That's why the question is asked. So please do kick me, save me the trouble of leaving
-
You said it dude i agree with this post 1 million percent i was in a hm with a 318 hunter whilst everyone else was 308-311 and he ALWAYS died 1st then he blamed everyone else so i ended up booting him
-
1 ReplyYou know what we need? More people like you. More people who don't require Tom for the raid. I like you.
-
You know nothing John Snow
-
I agree with you that anyone who requires Tom are probably the same people who required gjallerhorn in y1. I haven't found all the fragments and all I have left is the court of oryx ones, so I probably will never get the gun. And I am fine with that
-
2 RepliesShut up meg
-
6 RepliesHung Jury, 1000YS, Vangaurd Rocket with G&H. That's all you will ever need to complete every Activity in this game. And Yes, I have ToM, BS, and SS. Never use any of them. They're trash.
-
Edit 2: Shoutout to all the nerds who have nothing better to do but look me up on destiny tracker to dig up all this info on how often I play this game. You're the real heroes today.
I'm so sick of people doing this, lol.

I ask every time and the majority of people I have played Wyeth do as well. And every single time it was to determine what strat to use. I am under the opinion that if you don't have it its by choice as well. But it's not needed just is helpful to know
-
4 RepliesI have my own raid group so I won't be joining yours. Sometimes someone leaves and we go on lfg to get someone in and we don't boot them because of light level, we don't boot them because of their guns they have we make sure they know what they are doin before we start and all give them a chance as long as you can do your job you can stay. But be warned anyone that comes with us expect a tea bag if you die, you see we try to have fun in our raid and if any of us die and make us wipe you're getting a tea bag from the rest of the group, some people don't like getting tea bagged be we do like giving them so if you don't like our sweaty balls on you're face then don't die. P.s a tea bag a day will keep the doctor away it's working so far.

Honestly, my only issue last round was the insistence of using a sniper rifle and only that. Thankfully I had a scout rifle handy when I burnt through my 18 rounds
-
2 Repliesi have spindle but it isn't as high as my eirene w/ LitC. i still do a lot of damage with rr4 and it has higher RoF than spindle and very close impact.
-
2 RepliesOnly time I ask is if the game plan is to kill Sisters in 2 or 3. Aside from that, I don't even personally use the gun because I'm not a fan.
-
5 RepliesLuckily I always make my own group. I expect people to have TOM and to be honest I expect most to have a upgraded one. If on sisters your using anything else I will ask you to swap if you say no your booted right away. Same people not using spindle on golgroth.
-
1 ReplyTouch of Malice shouldn't be a requirement for normal. I don't have a problem with people requiring it for heroic difficulty. Simple.
-
14 RepliesYou've completed the raid 4 times… 4… you're opinion holds absolutely not weight
-
I ask because I want to know if there are calcified fragments I need to show people.
-
Edited by pluckedseraphim: 12/7/2015 8:59:46 PMDon't forget black spindle. They go crazy over that also.
p.s. Your 4 completions are valid. Keep up the good work m8.
-
Well I usually ask because it might be the difference between killing the first wizard or leaving it alive.
-
Fyi you don't need to go to destiny tracker to see how many times you completed the raid. Check grimoire, go to activities, raid, Kings fall, completion: bam
