All "K/D doesnt matter" posts are made by guys under 1 K/D.....
Git gud scrubs, K/D doesnt matter so much but under/over 1 makes difference, it tells if you kill more than die, if you are under 1 K/D you need To have great team work or Luck To go flawless

K/D doesn't matter. It's easy to get a high k/d if that's all you're trying to do. I've been at 2.0 before and I could have gone higher, but I don't leave games where my team is getting creamed, I don't use the top tier weapons, and I don't play cautious at all. I played a match where I was trying to get unbroken, got it first try, wasn't even hard. K/D is easy to inflate and doesn't indicate skill.

Kd matters. But it doesn't tell the whole story on all game modes obviously. Also a high kd with low kills is not a great thing - though in general it isn't hurting the team, which is very important.

4 RepliesI have above a 1.0, and don't think KD matters because in competitive KD doesn't matter. But I also don't care about this games pvp. In Gears of War 3 I have a 4.7 KD but I still think KD is irrelevant. People who play competitive know how little it means.

It doesn't matter as much as people act like it does. My kd is pretty bad, and in the beginning I was terrible. Now when I go to the crucible I'm almost always over one and usually near the top of the leader board. Trials is a little different, but that's slightly different.

Been flawless 4 times since release of the taken King and I have had the highest kd revives on my teams at times. Why because when I focus on flawless that is my focus. To win. But I am staying clear of trials for a while. I get to angry and that's not who I am.

KD is a pretty good at accurately showing how good someone is. But the way people are using it now makes me ashamed. . . KD Shouldn't be used to judge people. And those with low KDs shouldn't be looked down on, its just a game.

I sabotage my kda on purpose during trials by punching explosives and jumping out of bounds after winning to trick scrubs like you!!!! #mindgames

1 KD is really -blam!-ing good 2 If K/D is so important get a job with it. Impress the ladies with your "positive K/D" Its a game and some of you PVP players ruin that for most of us. Nerfing weapons and causing them to suck in pve. Not giving someone a chance in trials because of a stat thats not gonna get you anywhere in life besides a upstairs room in your mothers house.

6 RepliesBut kd really does not matter win% and who you face matters. There are players out there who only play against top players and their kd suffers because of it.
