Well... Time for me to try my hand at concept writing... Side quest spoilers ahead from the main game. [spoiler]DLC Name: Broken Banks Location: North Carolina Short in game description upon activation: "Your Pip-Boy has intercepted a radio transmission originating somewhere in the south along the coastline, the broadcast mentioning the 'Broken Banks' along with the treasures it may hold. Weapons: -BB Gun (As seen in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, can be modded to become compatible with the 22LR ammunition introduced in the DLC. -Musket (A modified musket from the 18th century which uses a bolt action and a side loaded magazine instead of being single shot, it fires at half the speed of the hunting rifle and is only loaded with 3 bullets but it has 1.5x more damage as a trade off.) Long rifle (Basically a reskinned and semi automatic hunting rifle that obviously uses 22 LR ammunition, can be modified for comparability with .308 or .50 BMG. Pump action shotgun (A M37 Ithaca pump action shotgun, the barrel can be sawn off just like the Double-Barrel Shotgun and there are a wide variety of stocks and sights to choose from. Melee weapons: -Butcher's cleaver (Self explanatory, as are all of the melee weapons) -Pitchfork (a normal pitchfork, can be modded to utilize drill bits instead of the standard pointed tips along with serrated blades and turning the weapon into a blunt force object. Unique weapons: AER 25 "Longshot"- Fires a singular laser that splits into multiple beams when it reaches an enemy, the beam has to travel a certain distance before the effect takes place, however. The weapon is obtained from completing an unmarked quest in the Duhral energy labs on the northeast part of the map, the quest having the player track down several dead scientists on the labs' perimeters and gathering ID card fragments from their persons, once completed the player will need 5 Adhesives to fix the ID card and then they will proceed to the basement of the northeast lab to retrieve the weapon from an underground bunker opened from the card. (There will be more, of course but for the sake of time I'm moving on to the next portion for now.) Characters: -Desmond (The same Desmond from Fallout 3: Point Lookout, he will play a central role in the story and can be a potential companion if the player has high enough Charisma.) -Ironsides (The Sentry Bot in the USS Constitution quest, if you haven't killed him he will act as the way to travel between the Commonwealth and the DLC via his ship, if her is dead somehow then you simply use the ship to travel to the DLC.) -Harvey ( The only Vendor in the DLC, she will sell most of the DLC weapons for a relatively high price, along with the ammo for said weapons for the same price as 5.56 ammo, she also sells several of the armor's in this DLC, some of which are only available from her.) (I'm may edit in more characters) Factions: -Revolutionaries:One of the 2 major faction in this DLC, they wear gear similar to the minutemen except reinforced with metal and leather, the main weapon they use will be the Musket but they can also be equipped with Hunting Rifles at lower levels. -The Broken Union: The second major faction, they will use Long Rifles, Laser Rifles, Combat armor, Pump Action Shotguns, and even T-45 power armor of varying tiers at higher levels along with their own unique armor set. Landscape and terrain: The DLC will have a variety of woodlands, urban environments, cities, plains, and swamplands to explore, it will have a similar feel to both Point Lookout and The Pitt in some areas. Radio stations: -Broken Banks radio: A pre-war radio station ran by a group of various robots, the broadcasts may include things such as advertisements for pre war products, PSAs similar to CONELRAD broadcasts from the Cold War, and music. The music playlist will include songs such as: Louis Armstrong- A Kiss To Build A Dream On Johnny Cash- Folsom Prison Blues The Ink Spots-If I Didn't Care Sons of The Pioneers- Old Man Atom Marty Robbins- Ain't I Right Quests: There will be three Questlines in the DLC, one for each faction/ person (In Desmond's case) First quest: A Formal Greeting Second: Fire on the waterfront Third(r):Fighting fire with firepower Fourth(r):The Iron Curtain Fifth(r) Three makes a crowd Third(bu):Shattered Ties Fourth(bu): An eye for an eye Fifth(bu): Making the whole blind Third(d): Perfecting the Future Fourth(d): Restoring the present Fifth(d): If you didn't care [/spoiler] Took an hour to make
