3 of Coins have been stealth nerfed in last few days? WTF?!!
Since IB my drop rate has become pointless. 15-20 coins. Before that it was the normal every 4-5 coins.
I tried a multiple of different Ultras, in a number of different ways. Something has changed. It's not RNG.
I suspect a ninja nerf.

You must be doing it wrong I got 6 exotics yesterday with 19 3oc's and since I've reached ll312 they were all 310 drops try farming the ultra knight on the cabal ship on the dreadnaught I spawn in do one patrol and then head in and kill the knight I get a drop about every 3-5 runs and actually got 2 in a row yesterday hope this helps

Was thinking the same. Even after the first nerf I was getting a good amount of legendaries and exotics. Now it's very far and in between. Seems like they're just going to waste now. Better off leaving them in the vault.

I would agree, but I've found it reliable to farm in legacy. I do a strike without 3oC, do another and use it immediately before the boss, and then do 2-3 without using one, and I end up getting an exotic every 2-3 coins.

I had been thinking since Tuesday reset that the 3oC had been nerfed slightly, got a 310 special on first nightfall, used 40+ coins over 3 characters since, well spaced out, got absolutely 0. Guess that's payback for 6 out of 5 coins the previous week.

Activate coins just before the Ultra, not afterwards in preparation for the next.

Find a loot cave and have a blast at it- nerf it Find that you can rush and open the HoW chests in patrol multiple times- nerf it Find a raid sniper that just so happens to kick nightfall bosses asses as the perk on it would imply- nerf it Find that the most coveted RL in the game does insane damage- nerf that too God forbid you have fun and feel like you're winning.

No it hasn't in my case. Sometimes it takes around 10 of them..sometimes I get a drop in 2 to 3 of them. It's just RnG..like the rest if this game.

shrugs... I tend to get them every 5 to 10, but last night was uncharacteristic as out of 8 strikes (one of which was the flayers), I got 4 exotics.. two single drops and a double drop.... the whole game is rng, so why would these be any different..... though it would be interesting to see the math, and it's sources, behind the expected percentages

I just used 5 coins last night in the NM KF raid. I received 2 exotics. Out of the last 50 coins Ive used. Ive had around 15 - 20 exotics. They are still working good for me

3 RepliesI don't know what you guys are talking about. I understand that you may judge Bungie for them being a "corporation", but I've gotten 3 drops out of my last 7 Three of Coins farms (I use a single strange coin, kill an Ultra, go to orbit and try again 30 minutes to an hour later.)

Out of my last 4 on xb1 I've had 2 exotics. Out of my last 4 on ps4 I've had none.

I think its just bad luck. Me and my buddy raided last night and between the 2 of us, 3 out of 4 3oC's popped as exotics

1 ReplyThe cool down is extended... Like allot.... When I use 30 3oC in a couple days of farming I get maybe 3 exotics..... Since I've been playing less and I leave my exotics particles active my luck is MUCH Better 1/3 of the time I get an exotic after waiting at least a hour.... I farm the ultra on the dreadnaught

Still getting at least 1 drop every 5 or 6 coins bro. You need to space em out. If you use coins within too short a time since your last 3oc drop, you incur a farming debuf that slows down your chances considerably. Best to just use them every now and again at bosses as intended. After all, theres not many exotics on the loot table anyway, so why rush it? Trust me buddy, slow and steady and you'll reap more rewards

I am not one to jump in on the complaints wagon but have really noticed this. Using them the same as I have always and now getting far less success. After spending 40 coins I have got only 2.... Now if this is how it is to be then so be it but it seems a harsh step after they reduced the amount of strange coins you can now gather.

I dont think so, i still get drops all the time, did 4 yesterday and got 2.

Me and my brother are both swimming in exotics still everyday, stop using them every 5 minutes and stop crying scrub
