I play on the 360 currently, and want to switch consoles. Which current gen console should I get?
I have friends on both platforms, so that's not a problem.

2 RepliesSince you want some pros and cons, they both have exclusives that are worth being excited over, while Sony is putting more money into exclusive, Xbox just added backwards compatibility so you get 4 free games a month, plus a plethora of titles added to backwards compatibility for relatively cheap. The ps4 does boast slightly better rendering and graphics but as an owner of both playing on a 4k tv I can tell you for 100% fact that there is no difference unless you love looking at water and grass. Some cons are that the os4 does not receive regular firmware updates (updates to add features and fix others), they also have security issues very frequently, most people don't know this tho since they try to keep it quiet. Xbox is not putting as much money into exclusives at the moment, but they are adding and working on features for games like crackdown 3 that will utilize cloud computing to boost what is available to you and developers in the way of processing power, early estimations are that cloud computing will increase computing capabilities 10x. The ps4 does have a stronger announced line of exclusives set for next year, but again, New announcements and postponement happen all the time.

My advice... Don't listen to fanboys, they are blind when it comes their favourite console. Choose which ever console most of you friends play on, they are both excellent and you can't go wrong either way
-
Which ever one you have more/better friends on

1 ReplyQue the imature sodium throwers who judge people by what console they play
I personally would go for xbox, you wont lose your progress and backward compatibility is great
4 RepliesKeep one thing in mind, getting a ps4 means having to restart destiny fresh as a taken tot.

2 RepliesDo you want uncharted or halo?
-
2 RepliesI personally play on ps4. But there a pros and cons for both. If you also love halo Xbox is the way to go. I think the play station home layout is also a lot more organized. Ps also has a couple free games a month if your ps plus. I like the Xbox controllers a little better the fit in my hand better. Over all I would go with ps,try something new besides Xbox. It is your choice so pick which one you want. I have both so I know a lot about them.

4 RepliesAt the end of the day, week, month, year its your decision to choose which system would fit you more

You have a decent amount of exotics that are coming in the December update that would be a pain to get again, so xbone would be my vote. Dragon's Breath Super Good Advice Plan C No Land Hard Light Mida Wouldn't want to grind for all of those again. Plus any off the armor that is being added that you may already have. Otherwise I would say PS4.

I voted on xbox one but it doesn't really matter which one you buy. Both consoles have the EXACT same idea, purpose, and function. So really its based on opinion and choice in this "argument".

Edited by SeneschalGrigori: 11/24/2015 7:05:51 PMWhatever one you have more friends on or the ones that you will play with them more on. If it really comes down to it you could just get it on PS4 since they get the DLC first and if that's not enough then choose on what system has more exclusives that you are interested in. Honestly my main thing would be the fact you can carry your stuff with you when you stay on the same console family. There's no way in hell I would start over at this point.

If you don't care were most of your friends play or don't care about any Xbox one exclusives and don't mind starting over, then you should get a ps4 since they have exclusives for destiny.
-
2 RepliesI was going to vote ps4, but since you are on 360 currently you should go xbone. That way you will be able to keep all your characters and items. It's not worth switching to ps4 and having to start over .
-
5 RepliesGet ps4 its better
-
3 RepliesIf you're on 360, then just upgrade to XB1. Your stuff transfers.

Edited by TheBeforanater: 11/24/2015 6:55:51 PMThe exclusives are definitely better on ps4, but if all your friends are on Xbox then you should just go with that.

I have both and I like ps4 a lot more. Depends on what system u currently have tho cause all ur characters and weapons etc transfer to the next console

Read what games, hardware, software, etc. interest you. If your friends are on one console buy the one they're on
