People need to stop and really read his post for christ sakes. Iron Banner ended one hour early last night. Bungie did tell people but only through twitter. I was in a fire team of 6 people that don't follow twitter at all. So we had no idea that the one hour early was in effect until it was too late. They claim that they have 25 million active players. They only have 1.2 million people following on twitter. So lets assume that every twitter follower is actually playing destiny( I bet you they don't). So 1 out of 24 people knew of this one hour early shutdown. They couldn't even notify their Facebook followers which is 1.5 million. Thats 300,000 more players that could have been enlightened of this warning. I look on their site everyday and they couldn't even be bothered to -blam!-ing post it like a sticky for maintenance. I hit rank 5 on all my characters on Saturday but I convinced my friend that we could get his last character to rank 5 before reset. We were 2 games away an hour before what we perceived as reset for all Bungie content and Iron banner. My friend was pretty disappointed as were several other players in my fire team that were so close to finishing rank 5. So Bungie decides to end IB early with no justification and uses the weakest way to reach its player base to notify them of this change. When we went back to the tower we saw many players using their emote grieving at the closed doors. It was pathetic and funny as hell but I knew they were all like "WTF!" I felt bad for all of them. I just don't feel like they give a -blam!- anymore. Today it tells me we only give a shit about our twitter following and anyone that uses our actual website is not good enough for this info. We are too lazy to build a still graphic to let everyone know about our one hour early shutdown. They could've easily informed the entire gaming community on this change ViA a sticky on their community forums. I always notice that sticky when a maintenance is scheduled. But go ahead community, berate this guy. Downvote him for playing this game even when this game has little left to offer. Downvote him for not being a twitter follower. Downvote him because he gives a damn. I am going to up vote him because I read his post unlike most of the people that use twitter and comment here. Edit: I want to be absolutely clear just in case people don't know. The reset happens at 1AM in Cali post daylight savings time. The doors were closed at 12.

Is it possible that the ones whom are upset are the ones that waited until the last day for the xp buff?

Or even better. Goes to turn in paper at last minute, internet goes out so obviously internet provider fault even those he had days to do it....
