By playing a different game.
-
Lower how much health they get after each kill, and lower damage resistance when Super is active by a small percentage. To compensate, give Titans an ability to increase punching distance (about Hunter distance) and makes grenades more effective (unsure on this as I haven't used Sunbreaker yet). There. Should be balanced then.

Has anyone who wants a hammer of sol nerf even tried playing it in pve? It's ridiculous only in pvp do people ever complain. I've come against people using my hammer of sol super and they kicked my ass. Maybe it's the players and not the class.

Id start by muting this post....bye felicia

6 RepliesEdited by Blinkered Wozza: 11/13/2015 7:26:07 PMWhy does the whole Destiny game have to revolve around what people who play PVP demand? It's not always about what you want all the time. It was PVPers that first ruined auto rifles, then the Thorn. Now we see some of you whining about pulse rifles, Sunbreakers and some moaning about crucible being a sniperfest. No doubt when Bungie finish nerfing this, then buffing that you'll quickly move on complaining about something else then. So you'll ruin a perfectly good super in PVE because you can't deal with it in PVP.

I would nerf nerfers.
-
6 RepliesI would give them 5 more hammers and make it last twice as long.
-
Make it so max armor isn't achievable. leave everything else as it is.
-
1 ReplyHere's some ways to beat them: -suppressor grenades -tether -black spindle (headshot will kill them even if they have max armor) -one sniper shot and one primary shot -more than one competent team mate -grenades stick and one primary shot -run away when you hear the super activate -use your own super to kill them Honestly just don't take them on 1 v 1 unless your at a distance and you will be good. Hope this helps because way too many people post how "op" they are.
-
I would use a computer to modify the code.
-
Turn their hammers into the squeeky ones you get at theme parks that you annoy your girlfriend with. Oh wait i dont have one...
-
Quickly and permanently
-
Snipers and GG can OHK and remove the health regain on kill.
-
2 RepliesTo be honest, I'd just make it where they can be sniped and no health regen. That be all.
-
-
6 RepliesLess armor and no health recovery from Hammer kills. Let them keep 5+ homing Hammers.
-
3 RepliesI think everyone forgets that if it's nerfed in PVP it takes a hit in PVE as well. Imagine 3 or 4 hammers in PVE. It would be terrible.
-
3-4 hammers? Then make Hunter's have only 2 GG shots, no hungering blade and only 5 swipes with Bladedancer, remove quiver and shadestep. Then again you want it that way cause your bad at the game. What do you except from someone that has 3 Hunter's
-
1 ReplySmaller blast radius, but lower travel time on the Hammer. 10% oversheild reduction.
-
3 Replies
Ruin the entire sunbreaker subclass.
Fixed your post
-
most of these solutions are ridiculous. one of two things needs to happen: absolutely no health regeneration and a 10 pct dmg reduction nerf, OR, leave the health regen and remove all damage reduction. it's a mobile nova bomb that can be used 7x. there's no need for dmg reduction and health regen. there just needs to be one or the other, and they need to be able to be sniped from any high impact sniper, and not just one or a lucky bullet

4 RepliesEdited by An Apple: 11/13/2015 8:46:43 PMHammer of Sol nerf 2.0.2 notes: Damage reduction reduced from 56% to 50% to compensate for the inability of one shot kills from a variety of weapons including golden gun Blast radius of hammer reduced by 7% allowing Smaller radius than Fist of Havoc. Health regen is limited to super ability kills with sun charge to be similar to what we intended as a titans "arc blade". Amount of hammers to be thrown reduced to 5 instead of 7.
-
Only decreased armor and blast radius would be fine
-
4 RepliesEdited by BrinCorrian: 11/13/2015 7:39:45 PMThere is only one thing that needs to be done: Tone down the damage reduction by 5%. That's it. That's how you fix it. It doesn't kill the sunbreaker subclass and allows the sunbreaker to actually be killable in crucible. Your welcome. Good bye.

Put it in water.
-
Armor reduce by 15% Sprint reduced by 20% Explosion radius reduces by 10% Health regen now restored a portion of setting off recovery Not that heavy of a nerf just a few quick patches
