Crucible has become a snipe fest
That's it, that's all......hard scoping a corner is Destiny pvp. I never see primaries used anymore, just that red glint beyond the corner.
edit: this is not a nerf sniper rifle post, I'm concerned with special weapons in general. Special ammo needs to be reduced some how.....I feel special weapons are a crutch. I want to see more primary weapon usage so we can see who's truly the better player.

I like sniping too, not the best yet, but I do it for the awesome satisfaction only... I also mainly use hung jury in pvp tho, which is good enough for most stuff, including shooting from distance

I snipe 99 percent of the time and agree. The sniper situation has gotten pretty silly IMO. Guys using snipers in cqc ranges etc. I'm guilty of it myself. I mean I was playing some elimination for a few hours today and I'd say 90 percent of players were running sniper. I decided to dust off the shotgun to experiment countering all the sniping and it definitely worked to where I'm seriously thinking of running a shotgun against sniper teams in trials.

Because they spend their whole game zoomed in. It's why 3rd eye is so popular or whatever the stupid radar aiming perk is

I do feel that most rely on a snipe/shotgun to get kills. They just need to take away the ammo amount. Spawn with fewer rounds. That's all trials is now, snipers and shotguns. I can't even remember the last time I died by a primary lol.

7 RepliesYou ever notice how people that bellyache about shotguns are always snipers? Cos it takes "skill" to sit at the back of a map hiding behind pillars and popping people collecting ammo with one shot. Yet it's people that actually kill them by getting up close enough to them and taking them out with a shotgun/thorn/pulse rifle/super/etc/etc that RUIN PvP.

Break the distance. Show them the meaning of CQC. I break their long distance and punish them for not being aware in time.

People will always use a certain guns dude. Look at year 1 it was riddled with shotguns an thorn. No point moaning about it. Just counter it
