Crucible has become a snipe fest
That's it, that's all......hard scoping a corner is Destiny pvp. I never see primaries used anymore, just that red glint beyond the corner.
edit: this is not a nerf sniper rifle post, I'm concerned with special weapons in general. Special ammo needs to be reduced some how.....I feel special weapons are a crutch. I want to see more primary weapon usage so we can see who's truly the better player.

2 RepliesI say lower the times a bit and also have it so you cant spawn with secondary. That way theres no snipes right off the bat from someone camping a hallway

2 RepliesFor he love of god they need to fix hand cannons too i mean dont make them snipers but how about damage drop off in range i mean i should be able to put about 7-10 damage from long range with a last word.

Primary and secondary weapons are both situational. It's up to the player to decide upon the combination. Mid to short range primary combine with mid to long range secondary for balance. Or both mid to short range for those people who like run and gun corners. Or both long range for those who like distance battles. Other factors you're failing to account for are latency, map, and most importantly play style preference. It sounds more to me like you don't like the play style of other players. Rather than being creative with your own style or routine that adapts, you want Bungee to design the game in a way that caters to your complaints. What you're asking for basically would reduce PvP gameplay to identifying a target and strafing. Every single unique dynamic would be lost in this mundane adaptation. The game is called Destiny....grab your guns and go make your own. Don't wait for someone else to make it for you.

I'm not bothered by any special weapon. To each their own, shotguns or snipers whatever u want to use, rock it, and take some heads off :)

3 Repliessecondary weapons in general is ruining the game. just have secondary come out same time as heavy so people have to choose to either camp hard scoping or rush to get the rockets.

5 RepliesWell this is what happens when the Meta for the first year is to use an overpowered exotic hand cannon only to have them nerfed back to reality. People never learned how to use a proper primary so they struggle. Personally, I always have more primary kills in a game than anything else. I have not experienced the hardscoping phenomenon you have been experiencing.

Everyone is always crying just play the damn game I have no problem taking those hard scoping snipers out because I just throw on a scout rifle jump over because their hearts go out and shoot them most the snipers that a hard scoping out can't play worth a sh!t anyway damn wine babies

I see them there and just flank them or run towards them in a zig zag formation. I think the players fussing about this just don't understand how to play the game. So they want to complain about it to bungie to make these weapons even crappier just like the abilities they nerf. Just to make everything worst in the game so these whiners feel better with their low skill selves. Also they give you a radar so make use of it duh common sense. Use what the game gives you.

3 RepliesThis is because crucible is extremely out of balance. It's boring for people to use a pulse every map no matter the size. They need to buff autos and hand cannons big time. When the best viable option for the smallest map in the game and the biggest map in the game are a pulse rifle their is a problem. The solution is not nerfing pulse rifles either. It is bringing everything up to "balance" it. Bungie loves to bump shit up and at the same time nerf the last good weapon. So they never get a balance. Snipers and shotguns will always be there. That's a part of playing any fps. Another option would be to take a page out of cods book and make snipers and shotguns take your primary slot. Won't happen. So fix what we have

If special ammo is nerfed again because of snipers... Shotguns and fusion rifles will be useless, invective and sidearms will be everywhere, you will still bitch.

I'm getting the opposite every time I get in the crucible. I did a test and looked at the last 50 deaths that I had. 34 were by shotgun 8 were by sniper and the rest were primaries except 1 was a fusion rifle. Its crazy bandwagon fun in there lol.

I have a way to completely fix everything in crucible and balance out everyone using pulse rifles........... Bring back THORN in all its original glory haha. I love pulses but being Able to compete against them with hand cannons again is something this game needs. Leave pulse rifles exactly were they are. No more nerfs!!!!
