Crucible has become a snipe fest
That's it, that's all......hard scoping a corner is Destiny pvp. I never see primaries used anymore, just that red glint beyond the corner.
edit: this is not a nerf sniper rifle post, I'm concerned with special weapons in general. Special ammo needs to be reduced some how.....I feel special weapons are a crutch. I want to see more primary weapon usage so we can see who's truly the better player.

Lol you people whine about snipers cause you probably just got rekt in a round of Crucible, but guess what? There are so many ways to counter even a good sniper.

I don't mind snipers just don't like the one hit kill on a revive. Your shield should keep you alive since you can't move out of the way.

Snipers need skill, sure there's aim assist... and hardscopers, but as long as your not hella dumb you can easily outplay them with your primary 4. In this game it's allready all about team shooting, as soon as they nerf sniper rifles or decrease their usage it's only going to be about who has the most team mates shooting. 6. Learn sight lanes. Slide or jump around corners and through doorways so your head isn't in their crosshairs. Win.

You have waaaaay more shotgun kills than sniper kills. I think that alone speaks for itself.

First it was Auto Rifles and Fusion Rifles. Then it was Hand Cannons and Shotguns. Now it is Pulse Rifles and Snipers. Next up, Scout Rifles and Sidearms!

Most weps used on trials is Sniper or shotgun, most people don't use primaries.

Nah I think the secondary situation is completely fine. It's just part of pvp. I mean you have to go get it. If you are tired of snipers then create a plan to take there ammo. I don't think that everytime something is too hard for players to deal with it should be nerfed, just try and fine a way to combat it. Asking for ammunition nerf is kinda silly in my mind. Maybe a new playlist selection is what you should ask for.

I think bungie should just take away special weapons. No matter what you use, its an OP crutch that needs to be nerfed. People whined about shotguns all year 1 and now that they got nerfed to shit and people switched to the only viable alternative, the sniper, and, lo and behold, people are whining about snipers now. Just get rid of special weapons so we can stop seeing these whiny ass posts in the forums

Please explain to me how Primary Weapon usage will show us who the truly better player is? Wasn't Thorn a Primary Weapon? How'd that work out for your claim? Didn't the original Suros rule the roost at one time? Aren't Pulse Rifles currently King of the Hill? It's really simple. There will always be one specific weapon that for whatever reason will dominate in PvP.

2 RepliesA simple solution would be to spawn without special ammo. Then teams/players would have to fight for control of it. Rather than camping corners with it and dying eliminates it from your reserve just like heavy.
