I mean comments like this are extremely asinine and stupid to be honest. It's 2 different types of games to begin with. Destiny also sold about 20 million copies and fallout 3 sold under 5. Not everyone plays fallout especially ppl who are into PVP and being social.

Actually 4.8 to be exact. I mean you're that lazy to look it up? Destiny made over a BILLION with a B under a years time. It is the highest selling first game of a franchise All time. That is a FACT.

Destiny has not reached the billion dollar mark. Yes I did look it up. They're close at a little over 800 million, including the sales of a Bungie produced phone game. But no.

Are you sure about that? Their budget is 500 million for the entire contract not for one game you shard. Maybe you should go back and do a little re reading so you can get a better understanding of what is going on. They made 500 million on the first day of sales, so that means they covered the budget for the ENTIRE 10 year development in ONE DAY.

This is the question that still has not been answered by you at all. Edit: also that 500 million made in 24 hours also stopped most of their future sales. After that initial push of brokenness people didn't invest another 500 million on top of that. I gurantee it.

Where does it say that? Google simply said destiny and hearthstone combined (COMBINED) have made nearly 1 billion dollars. Doesn't say they crested it.
