Why do so many of you feel inclined to make a topic that you no longer like the game and are going bye-bye? Just sell the game. Go. Don't say anything. You're not going to get any freshly baked cookies. You MIGHT get a pat on the back though....from somebody. Probably that ugly stepchild we don't want to talk about that's kept locked in your attic.
This is not a job, you do not need to leave a 2 week notice of your resignation.

The reason you make a post like this is to show the company the obvious displeasure they're causing their clients. Sorta speaks volumes when people complain about the amount of threads saying people are leaving.
-
My man! They just want attention. Gtfo with the farewell letters.

So that trolls like me can post "By Felicia" And others can then Rick roll them?

Edited by Ebil Donut: 11/11/2015 10:39:49 PMThe reason is simple: destiny had so much promise that everyone got their hopes up. Now that they have reached the point where there is no point in playing destiny, wats the point? If bungie made destiny like they wanted it would have been awesome. But no, bungie has proven themselves inept at: coding(kicked to orbit without an error code or pulling out the ghost), listening to the majority of players(fixing bugs before cheeses), balancing weapons and classes(HoS and weapon nerfs), and prioritizing wat really matters(fixing cheeses instead of fixing actual bugs that have been proven with screenshots and videos, there r still some problems in the vault of glass raid). Scumgie has proven they r idiots. Nerfing weapons that almost no one cried about(ice breaker and black hammer), assuming we would throw money at our screens, and last but definitely not the least, being retarded for staying with activision. From wat i understand, the lead writer for destiny left and took his ideas with him cuz of some stuff that included the deal with activision. This resulted in this half-assed game. Great job bungie. I hope u feel proud that people refer to you as "scumgie" or worse, "scumgievision".

1 ReplyThey are leaving feedback for Bungie on Bungie's feedback forum. They aren't leaving it for you and it doesn't matter how you feel about it.
-
2 RepliesPeople have invested a lot of time and money into this game they hoped they would be interested in for 10 years. One year later they are completely bored with doing their daily chores and endlessly grinding hoping that today will be the day they get to yell out Yahtzee! I finally got a freaking gun that that can help my character.. if it was just a random game no one would care.. but it's a game that at times people enjoy and certainly become addicted to. Everyone wants it to last for the entire 10 years. No one here wants to just write off the hundred and forty dollars and countless hours they spent on this game when the game can be fixed. We keep telling Bungie how to fix it we keep warning them that they will lose gamers.. Everyone here is on a feedback forum trying to help.. but eventually we realize feedback doesn't help. The only thing that will help is waving goodbye and taking your money and time with you.
-
3 RepliesYour post isn't feedback on the game.

-
Here's an idea, you see someone say they're leaving and don't comment on it or read it. Then this magic thing will happen where you can go on with your life and it won't matter to you at all #magic Idiot
-
1 ReplyYou make a topic about how people post garbage on the feedback forums yet your own post is also garbage...seems legit.

You're so vain you probably think this song is about you
None of those posts are for you. They're for the developer. Welcome to #Feedback.
-
So you dont mind playing a pointless grindfest? Thats cool, I and many others are tired of the boring hamster wheel.. Some people care enough to show their displeasure hence the posts about leaving..think of it like this, you have over 600 hours..anything to show for it in game?
-
It's feedback from customers unlike the drivel you've posted.
-
People make quitting threads to let Bungie know how shitty they're game is.
-
2 Replies99.99% of users making "I'm leaving this game" topics don't actually ever leave the game.
-
1 ReplyPeople quitting is feedback for Bungie. It's letting them know that people aren't satisfied with their product. If you read a few of them, it's usually based around frustrating game mechanics. Things that bungie can fix. Sorry all feedback isn't bungie praise.
-
Because this game has a profoundly unique way of pulling people in then disrespecting them on very high levels. When that happens, people get remarkably more upset than they do with any other game and they feel obligated to announce their anger/displeasure.
-
Lighten up, Francis. It's a feedback forum, and most of those who post about leaving leave feedback as to why they've had enough.
-
They have data that reflects how many people are quitting. They don't need the feedback forum to know their game is dying.

Edited by HoliestOfBeards: 11/11/2015 8:43:24 PMBecause this game was over a years worth of disappointment. Because I want you to see it for yourself and stop being trapped in this manipulative money making scheme. Because you don't understand your addiction until you're free of it. Only when you're off the drug can you look back and say "jeez, why was I doing that to myself? Also, as for your statement - "This is not a job" - yeah, it sure is buddy. Year 2 sucked the fun out of everything. Turned everything into a senseless grind. Everything is a chore now. It feels like a uniformed, outlined, same shit different day kind of office.
-
It's called feedback. These are the feedback forums. Thanks for your feedback.
-
2 RepliesBecause it's feedback and might help dissuade other gamers from purchasing the game and or DLC. Is this a serious question or are you just like a Butthurt fanboy? (Seriously)
-
I think it's because most players feel really let down by the games not living up to any of the hype type promises that were made before, during and after launch. Also, destiny came out at time time in gaming where settling if for mediocrity was the shameful norm. They gave it there all. And expected to be given the same in return and were only left with a huge sense of buyers remorse after given Bungie second chance after second chance. And at the end of the day. Just don't read the "hey I'm leaving post". You won't have any issues if you don't read them and you won't have to post negative posts about the subject either. Win-win.
