As I do not care to do ToO as I do not have 2 decent people to run it with. I am wondering why the drops which are not only more but seem better in ToO then in PVE? I have watched some YouTube videos of some peoples ToO runs and honestly I am about to take a break from this game until the next dlc or quest drops. I mean what's the point of playing a game sold as PVE but only to find out they care more about PVP. As of late my friends list has been full of people playing other games when they use to play destiny all the time. I am not interested in salty people's comments keep them to yourself!

12 RepliesLet's get one thing clear, PvP is harder than PvE. PvE can be beaten with formulas, all of them work everytime. All it takes is a group of competent humans to follow instructions at basic light level to complete a task. And I must note that it takes enemies simply higher light level than you to make it a challenge, referring to hard mode. By comparison, PvP, you must expose yourself to other players, their tactics, and Bungie's inability to balance the crucible. Not to mention supers. No two matches are the same and no strategy is foolproof. You can't just wipe in trials and start over, that resets all your progress. Now, your claim that Trials weapons and gear is better, is debatable. For one, there's no way to get 310+ gear from any method of Trials. Weapons yes, gear no. I'd say that makes up for the moldering shard-to-gear ratio that exist in the hard mode raid. Not to mention that in hard mode, you get double drops if you do normal too, this adds to the ratio that was previously mentioned. In conclusion, your thesis that PvP players get better drops is wrong in my opinion. The drops are equalized by a couple of variables I just went over. Your excuse that you don't have two guys to run with can be easily solved by using one of the many LFG sites. I do feel that they should remove moldering shards from the raid because it does rob PvE player of loot.

Pve for pvp

9 RepliesDude anybody that genuinely cares about pvp and not just running around with retard mode supers is abandoning this game since the warlock and Titan supers are just plain so easy even a retard can kill the entire team with one activation no issues. Fallout time!

It's freemasonry. Bungie does not think you deserve the light while twitch streamers become adepts at life through the power of Destiny

5 RepliesIf ur decent then u can find decent players on lfg Thats not an excuse. But if u suck then yeah no one will play with you

1 ReplyDestiny trying to be black ops 3 but destiny is shit

1 ReplyEverything in this game is balanced to support the PvP. No fuccks are given to PvE players
-
2 RepliesI'm mainly a PvE player and I've known it was a PvP driven game. I honestly don't know how you haven't. I've tried it out the first time during TTK not to long ago and it's not bad, try it out you never know you might like it.

1 ReplyCan't say I know exactly what makes the gear better but I can only assume it's natural. I mean if the gear is tuned for PvP then that means they are just good all around weapons. This sort is obviously useful in both PvE and PvP, so they just need better stuff for PvE. --------They have perks like small bonus damage to certain AI and such, but that's obviously not enticing. For a start make existing perks like that better, and bring about more useful ones. Then again I get tired of all of the gear I'm meant to have for any sort of situation. It would be nice if gear had more perks to choose from to alleviate this.

8 RepliesWhat? You get one shot at gear above 310 in Trials. The hard Raid gives you how many chances at those drops?
-
9 RepliesDestiny was never meant to be specifically PvE or PvP. It can be both

1 ReplyThis is what is driving me away from the game apart from the lack of end game content. I like pve but bungie forces you down avenues to get better gear which for me I dont like. As said before so many times this game needs more match making or worthwhile end game content for pve.
-
2 RepliesYeah, it's kinda lame how the tried to market it as this great rpg shooter style game but it really wasn't. Yeah pve is nice but it's no where near they hype train that ran before its release. Bad enough every "patch" is an excuse to better the pvp players experience while shat is dropped on the pve crowd. Why does pvp need "end game" crap when there is already end game stuff available. Why does some bullshit pvp mode drop gear better and at more consistent levels than pve end game modes?? All bungie has done is cater to the pvpon crowds and it's getting annoying.

In a word...yes.

What people forget is they have pvp maps for all different locations many of which we in PvE have yet to even see or play. But yet the pvp group had been using them for a while

Bump yet the PVP is what I love to do after a huge grind. And it is super easy to do PVP and get great stuff in ToO
-
So many dlc's have been released and yet we have all the same areas to play in as well as oryx's tiny ship! But yet pvp has gotten how many new maps each dlc. They only prove more and more they care only about pvp. Also notice why weapons are altered or super's weakened all to make pvp play's happy

This sad excuse for PvP is just appalling. There's no value in it for anyone that isn't lagging or a try hard. They're making it even less enjoyable with the recent quests requiring PvP too. It's like they want to push away the predominately PvE player base. I don't know what their plan is but I won't be around much longer at the rate they're going.
