Just deleted Destiny
Went ahead and got rid of Destiny, bought cod, and preordered Fallout. It was a great couple years with yall and and I hope those that stick around have the best of luck with RNG. Yet it's time to move on out to bigger and better games :D
Before the salty destiny defenders come in and tell me that nobody cares and posts like these shouldn't exist on the forums, let me remind you that I'm not alone in this and I am someone. There is a double standard that exists on these forums and too many of you forget that.
As toxic as this community is, ive had my fun and you all deserve a goodbye just as much as you deserved a hello when this game first released. Cheers and have fun Guardians!

- Last time I played was the evening of the 6th of November. Paradox mission and some year 1 PvP.
-This post was made 16 to 16 and a half hours ago from the time of this latest edit.
-I said a couple years because my clans been around longer than the game and I've known this community longer as well.
-I won't delete my characters for two reasons: it would require reinstalling the game, and I'm a man of my word. If I say I'm not playing anymore then I'm not gonna play. Some of us have things called willpower and self control. I have nothing to prove to anyone by deleting characters.
-My opinions are what they are: my opinions. If you feel I'm leaving for lesser games then so be it; that's your opinion. I'm having my fun and you should too.
-this post was never made to gather so many responses. I just wanted to wish you all well and say goodbye. When you stop playing a game you love and have a lot of great memories with it, you or at least I, feel compelled to say farewell. I know some of you will understand that.
-thank you to all the Guardians who saw the legitimate sincerity and honesty in my post. You are what made the game worthwhile when I still played. Rock on!
-If you don't care don't comment and stop my post from trending, which it most definitely is. If you ask me though, this community appears to care quite a bit.

2 RepliesI'm quitting as well. But I'm not moving on to cod. Or fallout. I'm getting burnt out on video games anymore. I only enjoy pvp and I can't play enough anymore to be competitive. I'll just let my son use the xbox for minecraft.

1 ReplyI haven't played destiny for a couple weeks now, and boy does it feel good. Playing some Halo 5, then some Fallout 4 and Legacy of the Void, then Battlefront. I've been seeing a lot of cool things with BO3, but I don't think it's a good investment to drop $100 on just Zombies and Campaign for me. Needless to say, have fun with your games man. Don't know which console your on, but I'm sure I'll see you in the field somewhere!

If you already know that this community is toxic then you must have done it either for attention, keks, or because you're so lonely that the forums are the only real human interaction you get. Either way, that's great, play what you want. If you're the kind of person to just quit out like that then chances are i wouldnt have wanted you on my fireteam anyway haha. Edit: looking at just your grimoire and medal score, it would seem you are a first rate casual anyway, and we have no room for your kind in this game anymore so it's great you deleted it. Just don't reinstall it, you will merely slow down everyone else.
