After almost two months of the Taken King dlc being released, do you think it's really worth $40? State your reasons below!
At first, I thought it was but now I'm starting to think otherwise. I honestly think it's worth $30 max.

Nah should have been less to compensate for those trash DLCs they had us buy for 20 each feel like they were barely worth 5 bucks 40 I want new evrything not just enemies and recolored gear I want new looking gear for my hunter even if it's just greens or blues New subclasses definitely step in right direction however I'm tired of seeing same old ships etc.. the point is details matter

Ive definitely got my money's worth, very fun, plenty of content, would buy again
-
I love ttk, but think it should be £30-£35
-
Yes for now. I just need Xbox to sell Destiny for cheap, so I can use the digital copy.
-
If every raid was as awesome as kings fall I would pay that much every time
-
Since TTK came out I've put maybe 150 hours into it (since the expansion, I'm not a Taken tot) so I'd say I got my money's worth.

Edited by Fenrir: 11/6/2015 7:21:45 PMNow that I've had time to reflect on my decision... no, I don't. Fallout 4 truly will kill this game, by offering much more content for less. Did you see how closely people clung to lines from those few cutscenes we got in TTK? People will genuinely love Destiny if they can better develop the story, or at least the characters. Big studio games always do this. I didn't expect cheap DLC. But I did expect a lot more fresh and inviting content, especially from Bungie. Then again, Activision also has a reputation for selling small content packages at disproportionate prices...

Not even close

No it was not worth $40 I expected a lot more content for that price but most of it is just rehashing old stuff I could deal with that but when bungie decides to lock off content until they say that we can have it is unacceptable

-
No. If--IF--any of the year 1 stuff was relevant, yes. As it is, nothing from year 1 is worth doing anymore, a whole game just wasting away.
-
I've put a lot of hours into it, enjoyed the time I spent on it. It's worth what I paid for me, although compared to other dlc released by developers it's not as much value for money.
-
The time I've put in def yes
-
Considering I haven't played any recent releases for 60$ for more then a week before beating it and getting bored yes. I have put a ton of hours into this dlc and even with its flaws I'm still having fun.

Where's the don't care option? Fallout 4, Battlefront, Tom Clancy 's Siege and the division are all on the way. I love Destiny and all but need some change.
-
2 RepliesFor the amount of time I play, absolutely. I average about 3 hrs a day since release. I spend more money going out to movie on one night.
-
I think so for sure. Especially for new players. I haven't played as much recently since I raced through the content and exhausted most of it quickly. But for new/casual players? Most definitely.
-
Compared to vanilla destiny. Yes. Compared to other games. No
-
Should have been a $15-20 DLC.. 90% of the game is still vanilla maps.. abandoned vog ,crota, how.. I have come to realize, Its just not for me anymore.. Nothing bad to say really.. just not the progression im interested in.
-
Although I'm very bored of Destiny and the only time it's being played is by the kids on Legacy strikes, yes it was worth it.
-
If they had given me full access to crucible without lumping together modes, I may as well have stayed. All I use is the new subclasses now, I'm even still using year 1 guns
-
Considering it made the past two dlcs obsolete. I would say it was really only worth $20.
-
hell yea i would pay $40 for the content we have recieved so far and there is more content to be released in the coming weeks
