Finally I got my dream nightfall reward!
I was blessed this week and happened to obtain a 290 ghost shell! Turns out the patch to fix nightfall rewards did a great job! Rewards are much much better.

Got a 290 invective. This was after getting a 310 invective from a court of Oryx exotic engram. Decrypted it, "yay, infusion bait! Let's do nightfall". Another invective. " yay, infusion bait! Oh wait, it's only 290".

2x boots < 300, worthless; plus one other thing that was just meh (I can't even remember what it was).

I did one nightfall on my warlock and got a legendary primary engram. Definitely much happier with the improved rewards!

I've done 4 Nightfalls so far, nothing has dropped that was over 300. That was with characters that were over 300.
