THIS BLACK SPINDLE MISSION IS KILLING ME!!!!!!
I've tried so many times! Could not get it done! All I hear is guardian down, guardian down, guardian down far out can't anyone stay alive and play it simple. I hardly died it's like I had to baby feed my fire team. Oh yeah and another thing I was in another fire team and I realised these guys won't use their super unless I mentioned it like WTH! Everyone completed this mission when they were like 295 light and I'm here stuck with 310+ trying over and over and when we'd kill the boss they just stay in the back staring at ads just at least go out and kill some. So frustrated!

2 RepliesDont kill the boss first. Concentrate on blights first, then add control, and lastly DPS the boss. Rinse and repeat.

Just kind of worked back and forth taking out adds and DPS to the boss with rockets... I killed the last add with 1 second left on the clock, no joke. We didn't even know you had to clear all the adds after killing the boss, but the mission wasn't ending so we kept at it and thank god we had enough time.

The key is to stick with the same group so you can get your strategy down and you all know what you're doing.

Did it the second time it came around. Our titan dropped a blessing bubble on the boss while wearing saint-14 and our hunter tethered him as well, then we beat on him with swords until the bubble was gone. We shot the blights as quickly as possible when they came up, and our warlock cleared as many adds as possible with stormtrance warlock when super was full. Repeat as needed.

Heres a tip for nexxt time. 1 person focus taniks. 1 person focus blights and 1 person focus captains and knights. Easy mode helped 8 people yesterday. Also titan hammers with explosive pyre perk is best

Got it yesterday on my 10th try at 290 was hitting at 85000 on golgiroth hard

lots of ways to beat it one being blessings bubble on shelf and batter him with exotic swords....he goes down real fast, then mop up the adds with supers etc.... Another being clean up adds and blights then dps him. If he doesnt die, clean up adds and blights again and kill him.

you need to take out the blights. they are your enemy. use exotic sword or sleeper. put damage on big boss, clear blights and few adds, then kill boss and take out remaining adds, did it with over 3 mins left. this was in the second time black spindle was available.

Finally on when i wasnt at work, went to solo it but had 1 lfg friend join as i was still doing main mission! We got him down but ran out of time for adds. Got a third lfg made sure everyone had heavy synths and swords. Blessing of light bubble on him, sliced and diced the main boss and got last add with about 20 seconds to spare. Pretty happy even got the ship.

Managed to get it yesterday with a team from lfg. Wasn't that hard actually. Sleeper Simulant does massive damage

There's 3 sets of blights then they stop. Lowest level guy stays in front room putting damage on the boss and helps shoot any blights he can see. For us this was a hunter with the pack Nightstalker thing on does extra damage to boss and gives teammates extra armor, shoot the boss as much as possible. Meanwhile two other guys clear blights kill adds help shoot boss until next set of blights appear and again until the third set is gone. By the time the two warlocks were done with the blights the boss had a 10th of energy which was taken care of by all three guys, swords out clear the the last few adds in the room, win. Entered room with 6 minutes to go beat it with 23 seconds to spare. 297 hunter, 298 warlock, 305 warlock. Blights first always, we ignored this all this time and failed the last time this was available. Also don't think about the time it makes you mess up of you hurry and keep yourself alive even if you have to hide, 20 seconds counts off every time you die. Good luck

Are you on 360 I really want black spindle but I don't have any friends :/ I like to think I'm pretty good, I solo'd the T3 Court of Oryx earlier, that's not a big deal tho is it?

Still 0-infinity for me. Oh well, exotic sniper really only has one use right? Oh how I still want it tho.
