THIS BLACK SPINDLE MISSION IS KILLING ME!!!!!!
I've tried so many times! Could not get it done! All I hear is guardian down, guardian down, guardian down far out can't anyone stay alive and play it simple. I hardly died it's like I had to baby feed my fire team. Oh yeah and another thing I was in another fire team and I realised these guys won't use their super unless I mentioned it like WTH! Everyone completed this mission when they were like 295 light and I'm here stuck with 310+ trying over and over and when we'd kill the boss they just stay in the back staring at ads just at least go out and kill some. So frustrated!

6 RepliesI've literally never equipped a sword. Nobody I play with has an exotic one. I view them as a gimmick.

We just hammered the room with rockets to kill all the adds, then dps'd the boss. Rinse and repeat.

2 RepliesDefinitely the most frustrating mission in a long time, maybe in the history of the game. Everyone always talks about the strat in the final room but IMO the key to the whole thing is the sniper/wizard room right before it. Very easy to get bogged down there and not leave yourself enough time to finish regardless of how perfectly you deal with the boss.

The hardest part of this game is finding competent people to play with, I work a lot so LFG is my only way. Anytime I get a smart/skilled group whatever mission/raid were doing is smooth as butter.

1 ReplyRan it twice yesterday to help others got another 290 spindle and two ships. I told the two guys, use your swords and blow your super whenever you had it, run sleeper on the boss. Both runs with 30 seconds an 15 seconds to spare. Ran Titans and Warlocks, hammers and lightning clear adds quickly in the final room. More orbs for teammates.

It really shows who's not pulling their own weight. Before it got nerfed to 290, I did the mission w/ randoms and we didn't strategize anything. We beat it w/ 2:30+ to spare. The raid MG probably made a huge difference up until the final room, so I recommend using it if you have one.

Then I bought black spindle after the nerf and now it's 316. It's easy.

My team had 1 add left last night and the timer ran out... And tried to reload it and it didn't load because the reset happened at 1 am instead of 2 am which I think was total bs.... I had and hour todo a few more runs and it wasn't there anymore.... Because of an early reset

We also used swords but only one was exotic. So 3 exotics, while definitely better, isn't necessary. We ran 3 warlocks with arc. Immediately sworded boss til he kill us, which was about 4 seconds. With respawn, we used our supers to clear adds until dead. Respawn in and hack boss until he went down. Then kill adds. Had 7 seconds left. Lol

Did it with a 289 296 and 298, use swords in first room and last room, have raze lighter for wizards and bolt caster to snipe the psions in last room!

I feel you have run it on ps4 no luck and none im on x1 with no luck so yea will most likely be a weapon that wont even make it into my hands.

Two Titan Bubbles left and right beside the boss... 3 Swords and hes gon in a few secs. Pull back and kill the rest. I missed it because 4 adds were standing ... But it works. Next time first try. Need also 6 mins left at the bossspawn or time runs out.

Did it sub 300 weeks ago, went in last night w a 299 and 310, 311 and got completely wrecked. Scaled enemies or seriously buffed? We didn't even get boss below half health.

11 RepliesYou obviously play with americans. I dont speak a word of Spanish but my first vog, crota, skolas and black spindle completion was done with a fully spanish fireteam. Oh yeah, my first oryx completion was with a bunch of swedish guys.
