This was a experiment. This was old account I used back in TDB days until I switched to Xbox One and gave this account to my brother.
My brother lost interest in destiny so I asked him if I could delete his characters for an experiment. He accepted.
Apparently, this is how people react to someone asking for help.
I am extremely disappointed in this community.

4 RepliesIf this was supposed to be an experiment, it was in poor format. It would be better if you were asking at 290, or at least 289 to prove the point. During the original run you lie with an easily disproved statement (Grinding heroic strikes for a month), when in reality you can get 290 drops randomly on the 36 strikes. Then if this was the experiment were is the con toll to prove the point? Experiments only work when there is a control. And also I don't see how it proved your hypothesis (the forums suck for help/are toxic), when most people offered legitimate advice on how to get better and even a few offered to help to run the raid once you were at proper light level. I wouldn't consider people calling you lazy as toxic as much as being correct in how you sound in the original post. TL;DR This 'experiment' fails as one. Not the right setup an no control.

Read a little more into your comments and I think I get it now. You asked for a raid carry, got shut out, pretended you were "experimenting" or whatever, and now your trying to bait people into flame wars because the butthurt is so unbearable.

Tbh, asking to be carried as 270 was actually quite, you know.. idiotic and baiting, so im suprise that you are suprised about the result. But it is the community fault too, to literally just talk shit and stuff immediately

You said you wanted to be carried in the raid, you said you were 270+ something, of course this would cause a bad response man. We all have to carry our own weight in this game. Hell, I didn't enter the raid until I was 295+ just so I don't pull the entire team down. I grinded the strikes just like everyone else. I agree that there is some elitist shit going on on these forums as well, but the responses from your post are definitely not one of them.
