Hammer of Sol FIXED in one easy step

IMHO... One step... [b][u]NERF MOBILITY[/u][/b] Don't get me wrong, I agree that the super is crazy powerful but I kinda buy the argument that it is SUPPOSED to be the tank class. Cool, I'll buy that BUT It is arguably the fastest class in the game if you utilize the jump correctly. Make it a tank and tanks are not supposed to hover around the map raining firey death from the sky. Or Skate across the ground, chasing down hunters, the supposed speedy/stealth class, only to catch them and shove a hammer up their arse. When hammer of Sol activates it should remove all special jump abilities. Go ahead and keep- The extra armor Health regeneration The multiple, tracking, explosive, napalm sunspot hammers The super charge Just remove the mobility when it activates. For the love of God remove the damn mobility. Edit: Thanks everyone (well most of you) for the constructive and interesting discussion over the idea, both for and against. It is all appreciated.   • The day bungie nerfs the shit out of sun breaker I will either stop playing destiny or only use defender and striker because bungie can never nerf things right just look at the hunters grenades there bad even trip mine most of the time won't kill a person same goes for super they keep making mistakes but if they some how nerf it the right way I'm cool I keep playing

    • I made a Titan waste his Super on Pantheon.It was by the East Heavy Ammo spawn.He activated it and I just kept jumping in and out in a circle.He was so confused! XD

    • So your solution to the first mobile super titans have is to nerf the mobility so you can keep your immobile target practice titans a thing in the crucible. We finally have a mobile super and it's suddenly overpowered because it's mobile. (That's the one thing you think needs fixed) I'll put it to you this way if you are a hunter and you can't run from a hammer your doing it wrong, obviously the hammer is going to get 2-3 kills. That's a given for a mobile super, but kills 4, 5, and 6 are gained due to the mistake of the other team. I mean I literally killed 2 people 2 times with my super because they spawned right away. I got 6 kills off that super. You can't blame that on the super being OP can you!? If they had been smart and run away when they heard my happer I still would have gotten 3 kills, but not 6.

      • Here's my version: Nerf Sunbreaker... [b]But[/b] -Decrease warlock and hunter melee range to match that of Titans. -Remove all bolt grenades. -Hunter golden gun has greatly reduced auto aim. -Nova bomb no longer tracks. -Remove blink on all classes and replace with catapult. -Reduced stormtrance mobility. -Blink strike invisibility and warlock flame shield now only activate upon a kill.

        • Honestly, my thought is to remove half of the tracking. I was playing with my sunbreaker on widows court, two enemy players were taking A. I was down the stairs towards C and threw two hammers just over the top of the head height wall. I took out both of the players. I would have loved to see their reactions. The fact that it tracked an unseen player was ridiulous. I've also seen an insane tracking hammer I threw take a 90 degree turn into a hallway following an enemy... killed him too.

            • I like this idea but Cauterize still makes the over shield stupid and way too strong. Their over shield needs to be lowered so they can be One shot GGed or One shot sniped with High Impact Snipers. Another thing I feel needs a fix is that if I throw a hammer at my feet in order to kill someone near me, Cauterize shouldn't trigger and cancel out with the damage taken by the hammer to yourself. Other than that, the Sunbreaker class is all super based and nothing else is useful enough other than Melting Point in PvE but even then I prefer Weapons of Light over that. Also, the most important thing is only nerf it in PvP and not PvP. It's fine in PvP.

            • Almost no one uses the Titan skate. If you nerf mobility, it would become just a sitting duck with no more damage resistance than a bladedancer or sunsinger w/ over shield.

              • Yes, I agree with the accuracy and the abilities, but not all of those can be equipped at once. The bow can wipe hammer of sol. Hammer of sol can be dodged easily by panic blinkers. Hammer of sol has a fairly slow travel time and so you can run away quickly. Sunspots are easy to avoid. They are pretty much the same thing as the area denial grenades. Just steer clear. I think that the health regeneration thing could be slower and have a chance to activate rather than being a 100 percent thing.[spoiler]every class is overpowered according to the opposite classes...[/spoiler]

                • Yeah well, either nerf mobility or make it so the hammer just area bursts around the player. The reason blade dancer has so much speed is because it's an up close super. The reason gunslinger has no bonuses is because it's ranged and easy to use. Hammer is ranged, with an armor boost, with a speed boost. It's not even a debate. Not that anything really matters.

                    • Extra armor and health regeneration is sooo -blam!-ing OP!!! This should be nerfed!! I'm main Titan and saying this! Yesterday evening we nearly went flawless. Our last match was against three Titans, so guess what happend. They camped like shit! We were in front 3-0 in this match and than the hammer party started!! They where shitting each other orbs like hell and the only thing they used to kill us was their super!!! At the end we lost 4-5 and mercury was not possible anymore..., so please Bungie!! DO SOMETHING!!!
