Been watching H5 streams and...
UPDATE: I'm currently installing H5. I'm not super thrilled that I bought the game. To all those who said, I'm bad, got no skill, ect. I invite you to try me. If you had the misfortune of coming across me in Crucible, which is something I never took super serious. I probably made you quit playing Trials...
If this game is good and that's a big IF. I'll be the first to admit it. If I play this fv€king game and it's a massive pile of $h1t. I'll tell you all about it.
So, guess what everybody. I believe this game is total garbage. And I've played it!!
Graphics are crap, movement is clunky, it's a retard version of H3...
It's bad.... like real bad.
I watched a few different Pros. And really it's just so played out like COD.
Same ol' crap.... different year.
This makes Destiny shine that much brighter. For at the very least being original. Brining something new and different to the FPS Genere.
I've been playing Destiny since launch and it keeps getting better.... but hurry up with the private matches already.... lol
Its crazy how many Halo fan boys are in this thread. You all know that you can go play halo. MCC has been out for awhile now.
Or did you stop playing halo back when MW2 picked the master chief up and dropped him on his head?
I've played so much Halo. For me, Halo couldn't be more dead. It's just like COD. Same game, always will be. It will not be what it was because it can't be.

2 RepliesI have yet to pick up halo 5, because I made the switch to PS for the new gen consoles, so I can't speak as to how good or bad of a game it is. That being said, even if it is just a rehash of halo 3 as you say, then it must already be far superior to destiny in almost every way other than graphics and art style (and that's completely opinion based.) Crucible is absolute trash, it's some of the worst pvp I've ever experienced in an fps, halo 3's multiplayer was some of my absolute favourite, and I know many share my feelings. Do we even really need to compare their single player experiences? I feel like that would just be insulting to the halo franchise. If halo 5 really is just a re-skinned version of halo 3 then why not play it over destiny if you've already picked it up? If not then gather up some friends and play some good old halo 3.

2 RepliesI've been a Halo fan for many years. I switched to PS4 with this console generation, so I won't be playing Halo any time soon. As a curious Halo fan, I've been watching videos and streams of it. Have to say, I agree with you. Movement looks clunky, weapon sounds are weak, and it just looks like more of the same. Not to mention they make you play most of the campaign as someone other than Master Chief. Big mistake, imo. When I see streamers acting excited about it, I feel like they're making a conscious effort to make it look better than it is. I'm not trying to pee in anyone's Cheerios. I'm sure some people will like it just fine, but it doesn't look like a great game from what I've seen, and it's definitely not the installment that will bring the franchise back to legendary status.

1 ReplyI like what I've played so far in Halo 5. Every long running franchise has it's slow decline. I'll always like Halo though. And as enjoyable as Destiny is, it's become solely driven off of the next DLC's hype. Think about that for a second.

Never cared for Halo...I played it quite a bit back in the day with my friends and while I respect what Halo CE did for the genre, I never really liked it that much. Not to mention that Halo 5 looks like the original just with cleaner graphics. I never liked the art direction and the whole space marine thing is so boring. No offense to anyone who loves Halo but it just never grabbed me. Destiny on the other hand intrigued me from the start. Maybe it's the rpg elements and the unique customized character and variety of classes and weapons...definitely the lore that is deep and mysterious but feels so familiar being set within our solar system. It's just a very different game but it's built on the foundation of really good shooter mechanics. I don't think Destiny is the perfect game and I can't overlook its flaws...but I like what I've played so far and I see the amazing potential in Destiny 2.

I quite enjoy the new Halo. The campaign is different, the warzone game mode is for the slayer, and the objective player. This game thrives when playing with friends.

The most frustrating part of Halo 5 was... Wait for it... Waiting on it to Install! Destiny / Halo are two different games that only share the FPS genre. I am still going to log into Destiny to do stuff bc it's a different game and I've put a lot of time and effort in it. Nothing will take down Destiny. The only game that'll take down Destiny is its sequel. Halo 5, is awesome, loving it: takes me back to the Halo Reach days.

8 RepliesYea halo will never play like cod. You're a -blam!-ing imbecile if you ever think that. Just because it's more fast paced, compared to the ungodly slow pace it was before, does not make it like cod. The Spartan abilities are cool but 90+% of my kills come from gunfights just like back in halo 2 and 3. Not to mention the Spartan abilities aren't op and the only thing that will one shot a full health Spartan is a direct hit from ground pound. Map control, real gunfights, precision grenade bouncing and all that stuff is still the same and it feels so much more competitive. Also, the balance is real unlike destiny. You can kill equally with any of the 6 main weapons (pistol, AR, SMG, BR, DMR, and carbine) and you'll never be under matched. The thruster makes for good gunfights based around tactical maneuvering. The sprint is balanced and prevents health regen and puts you on radar if you try to run away. I have no complaints at all.
