As funny as this is, it couldn't possibly be their attempt. I wonder if Bungie knows how hard destiny is about to feel the wrath of the constants. There have been many BLANK will kill destiny posts, but after that joke of a hard mode release and minimalistic content with TTK, they're gonna need to scramble to stop their player base from leaving. First Fallout in years, first Halo in years (MCC doesn't count, that was a joke) black ops fanboys because all black ops games play the same, GTA coming out of the blue with lowrider, plus others. I personally am sitting destiny down for the foreseeable future based solely on the way they bred this community. I'm stuck at 307 and I'll be damned if I farm normal mode raid for 310 drops just so I can get into a group and go after literally the same gear but a different color.

Pffft, I think it's great that they're doing special events, it's exactly what is needed to break up the monotony of the same ol grind.

1 ReplyI think it's more "woo Halloween" Seriously, there was a Halloween event this year, why wouldn't there be one this year? Everyone is so negative about Bungie doing anything, I think that this festival of the lost marks the first of an improvement to these kinds of events. Maybe we'll see more of this kind of stuff in future, and I'm looking forward to that

Lol the only thing that could stop that is if they opened up new planets made new races to play as,new enemy factions,ship battles etc. Basically there's nothing they can do until their next expansion

Too bad that one only drops in tess' packages for silver...maybe. some people spend 50+ bucks for that without getting it)

If people choose Destiny over Halo becuase of this insignificant little event going on in the tower, then those individuals prefer Destiny to begin with, and this event didnt influence that decision. Same for vice versa.
