Or we could have Giant aggressive as all hell thrall that makes explosions with his claws, maybe with wings, call it a Gargoyle? Or the Phalanx Boss with a massive Shield, so you can only ever shoot him from one side. Also his Shield is a missile launcher. Or a bad a$$ Dreg assassin that stealths and teleports to try and back stab people? Tanniks' prized student? All of these could be fun if done right. At least it'd be a change from the big stompy boss types that can just AoE melee you to death... Besides the Phalanx anyway.
