Is Touch of malice really worth the grind?
I have finally obtained touch of malice but not 100% sure on it. What are your opinions ?

If you raid, yes, if you don't, not not really, its not that much of a grind either

If you're a big raider, yes it is worth the grind for now. No way of knowing if it will be useful in future content.

ToM is one of the best dps guns for all occasions, against basic enemies it's better then black spindle or sleeper. But, the life stealing makes it harder to use during regular strikes personally i think it's worth it for daughter and oryx but for most other boss battles you are better running the spindle

grind for the gun. overall the time saved on sisters and Oryx will easily balance the grind out

I use it only during the daughters and oryx sections of the raid and it's a beast. Other than that I don't really use it. But yes it's worth the time and effort to get it in my opinion.

Edited by Hotdog_Knight: 10/29/2015 4:29:29 PMThere isn't really a grind to it. Play game. Pick up fragments as you go. Grab tom after your next kings fall. It's probably the best gun for the last two bosses in the raid. It doesn't matter how many in a group have it. The more the better.

1 ReplyIt's situational... It cones un handy for Death Singers and Oryx, but otherwise isn't really great unless you need a 310 to bump up your light level for something. Cool concept, and great execution, just not an end all, be all kind of gun (aka not Gjallarhorn)

I like it. Risk vs reward, you can pull out some big numbers, but don't take your eyes off your health bar.

Meh, up until know I don't have the Malice, but at the same time, I haven't been actively searching for fragments. Actually, I put that quest in the backburner since I first got it. To be honest, I don't even know where I'm at with that quest. The last progress I made on it was getting a piece from Oryx. I don't have 45 fragments, but I know I have quite a few by just grabbing them if I find them. And I already have 236 hadium flakes by farming them for future swords while grinding the Shield brothers strike for the maulers. I think in grinding for those gauntlets, I grinded for everything else in the game.

It's easy to get and its the best gun for the raid

yes it is, on the daughters & oryx it is critical. It does so much damage.
