Luckiest kid EVER in my fireteam.
So I just finished the hard mode Kings Fall maybe 10 minutes ago. I came away w a 313 ghost shell, 315 LMG, and a 310 (310?!) [i]Harrowed[/i] Chest Piece (are you fkn kidding me at 310?!).. We brought a kid in w a 307 warlock and this kid's luck proceeded to ruin my night. First off, he got the entire set of raid armor at 315+, a 320 bond, 315 sniper, and 314 ghost shell.. In one run through. To top it off, he died more than anyone else and was dead when we killed oryx, only to receive a 318 helmet and boots. Oryx dropped me the mother-of-all-bullshit 310 Harrowed chest and an Antiquated Rune (again, are you fkn serious with antiquated runes dropping from oryx on hard mode??). I should be happy right now with my Hunter halfway between 311 & 312, but I'm actually genuinely aggravated.

4 RepliesI don't get why your butt hurt that you couldn't max light gear. If you got max light shit you'd have no reason to do the raid anymore I'd say be happy for him and try again next weak.. Op is a sore loser But if it makes you feel better , I've only done the raid once and got the boots at 303 , the pulse at 300 and the lmg at 307.. And shit load of shards I barely make 302 with my sword

2 runs in HM and i got 310 cloak, 310 chest, 310 boots (had all of them in 310 already) and 313 rocket, all harrowed. I Know the feeling

One of the guys I run a lot with is personally affronted when someone gets a good drop. Never have understood it. Other than that a great guy

I feel you fellow guardian. My first 3 runs of hardmode proved disappointing. No drops from sisters and highest drop was 314. This week seems a bit better. Try to turn the bad rng into something positive. You're good enough to pass through hard mode almost 10 light ( 1 whole light level) below what Oryx mobs are! Thats an amazing feeling. So when you finally get that 320 piece of gear, regardless of what it may be, you'll be stoked. Take your bad RNG with pride, because you dont need great drops to pass one of the hardest activities in the universe of Destiny.

Actually the antiquated rune was most likely your normal mode drop.

First time I did the normal raid the only raid gear i didnt get were heavy, chest and helmet. Second time I got a different secondary and a shell and cloak that were lower light. Thats rng Insuppose.

5 RepliesWe carried a VoG first timer through around when Crota came out. Guy died every five minutes and couldn't really contribute (bad gear, low level). But walked away with a Fatebringer, a Red Death from the chest and a Vex Mythoclast. He was happy
