Why are there so many quick scopers in Destiny?
At least in a situation like this, I understand the problem lies with the player and not the weapon. Im getting soooo sick and tired of being in Crucible matches where there's literally a sniper around every corner. Why do you need a sniper rifle to kill someone who's right around the corner?! Most of the maps in the game are too small for them to begin with. I get they're supposed to one-shot you, but when EVERYBODY uses them within auto-rifle range, sometimes even shotgun range that's when it starts to get ridiculous. It's not Call of Duty people.....
*EDIT* It's died down a little bit, mostly happening in the Iron Banner. But now people run around in Skirmish with Y1 exotics. *sighs*

Because it is ridiculously easy to freaking quick scope in Destiny. All of Destiny sniping is piss easy. At this rate, I'll have to pick sniping up again because it seems to be the only realistic counter to a sniper. My shotgun-sniper death ratio is like 1:30. Shotguns are sometimes annoying to be killed by, but man, snipers get me butthurt. Also, quick scoping is just another skill that once you learn, you can keep doing (at least, in Destiny).

Dont chase me then. Next corner you turn you have a sniper bullet in the head. If not a followup shot from primary and your still dead. Play smart .

So everyone complained because all there was is a shotgun around every corner and more people should start sniping now we are going to complain about sniping. Awesome.

I put the time in to learn to get better at sniping close range for crucible. Why wait until you're in shotgun range when you can kill them first? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Except it's not cod, so it has to be a headshot to one shot. If they can kill you that close, they deserve the kill

Because it takes skill to use a sniper, I literally never pull out a shotgun. Snipers are the fastest kill time, and in most cases I can get the kill from a distance. Also, if someone's running at me with a shotgun and I can quick scope them, I just saved my ass.
