Tried a raid with a 291
This was the worst player I have played a raid with in awhile. Now I get why people are refusing to raid with people outside of clans or under x level.
It's not that this guy was not doing enough damage. He was doing less damafe, but that wasn't the issue. He'd shoot golgoroth in the back and pull his gaze for no reason, then run around the map for no reason, ruining any chance of good dps.
If he was torn between dimensions in the daughters fight, which seemed to happen every other time, holy shit. He'd try to jump to the wrong platform. He'd try to jump towards the sniper platforms (wtf?!) He'd jump to the wrong wizard. He'd jump off and take forever getting to the predetermined spot.
And yes, we tried very hard, to politely explain everything to him ahead of time. The platforms spawn like this. Please do this. This needs to happen etc.
After we finally cleared the daughters the fireteam was up too late and people were too frustrated to continue. Yay.

we carried an 287 light level player and killed every kings fall boss on the first try yes oryx too. not sure whats your problem but either that kid was dumb or your team was bad.

Cool story bro. We brought a 276 though last night and did perfectly fine. There is a magical button called "kick" when people don't work out.

Tell them 3 times if they do it again kick them and if they're but buddies with the leader just leave it ain't worth it I've done the whole raid at 285 no problem if he's 291 and can't even understand the simplest part of the raid just go I'd rather finish a raid in an hour instead of like 4

3 RepliesI guess you've made the game more a chore than an actual game.I have my friends that I do the raid with and we finish around an hour. But I'll run the raid with randoms to just joke around and enjoy playing with new people. Obviously I have the intention of completing the raid but it can take as long as all day as long as I have fun. P.S. anyone that hasn't done the raid at all feel free to add me and I'll get you through it.(unfortunately i hate playing with kids so only if you're over like 14)

In a perfect destiny world everyone would know how to do every raid and that in turn would eliminate the elite-ist posts on LFG. But seriously like right now some people on destiny dont even know how to do crota bridge legit or even run the damn relic correctly in Vault. Is it just me or do some people refuse education from any source; whether its a video in school about wild life or a video about how to win in a video game.

I was invited by a friend for sisters yesterday I've done the whole Raid a bunch of times so I know what to do, I've played with these guys before, they know I'm good but yesterday I don't know what it was, I want to say lag, because all kinds of shit was going on, just couldn't do it point blank 309 shots to Ogre and no damage popping up, Ogre doing weird things when they spawned just a bad lobby but I've been in lobbies where 1-2 people flat out said they don't know what to do, and must of a time the guys I play with will make calls and tell them what to do and it's usually fine the only people I add are Randoms where we beat everything first try tho, never play together and beat Raid under 1 hour first try in everything? you are a badass

Ran it one 284 last week. Did just fine. Towards the end he ended up getting a gear to boost him to 295 right before oryx

290's i helped some no problem... Try a 275 that says he understood what we said, even putting bubbles so that he don't die all the time and, or he is retarded or don't listen at all -.- never did what we said lol, why i even bothered to try?

Click bait. Being 291 doesn't make you a bad raider. What makes you a bad raider is not following instructions, either that or you didn't explain the process to him and in that case you failed.

Biggest problem I am reading about is it seems bungie is going down that rout of making their raids so stupidly annoying hard that you can really only beat them in one very specific way. I hate when games do this. There are tons of other ways to make something hard and challenging and fun with out forcing a whole team of people to do something in a very specific very annoying way where if one person messes up even a little bit the whole team pretty much fails.
