Lol. People require touch because we don't wanna wipe 24/7 on singers and oryx. Sorry for wanting a faster raid.

Because [i]most[/i] people with ToM tend to have a better handle on this game. They are the group that puts time into this game, so naturally they are usually more competent. After running through the raid and getting butthurt from loot drops I noticed that the raids we had 3+ with ToM there was way less wipes (maybe 1 a boss) and that was it. But the last two weeks I've done it and asked the ToM question and only me and another had it and every single on of those raids took 2+ hours....

Edited by Detherow: 10/22/2015 1:56:33 PMsounds like someone has some sand in thier vagina. well rub some more sand in there and walk it off as you will not be raiding hard mode. you say to us git gud scub, yet you can not do one of the most simple quests in the game for one of the most powerful weapons that absolutely destroys in the raid. and yes, it is a simple quest. gather 45 fragments ( time consuming, not hard) beat Oryx do a couple of strikes and why the fock are you bitching .. your 308 light and your have ToM. edit***** looks liek you just got it as you only have 22 kills with it... or you are the scrub who doesnt know how to use it

It can be done without the ToM, but it's the same people requiring 300+. Some of us have busy schedules, and can't afford to not get it down quickly.

Yeah look at your math. Oryx is 300 People were 295 Difference? 5 light. Hard Oryx 320 We'll be 310 more or less depending on gear that drops. Difference? 10 light. Add to that the surprises and oryx might be a faster clapper. Better safe than sorry.

What's the problem with requiring ToM? If you already beat the normal you should have the damn weapon, everyone gets the quest and it doesn't need RNGesus to get. And if you haven't beaten the normal raid, why you trying to playing heroic?

Because two people with touch can literally stagger oryx by them selves. I use touch only for sisters and oryx. I use my still piercer and raid lmg to kill ogres and that shadow of oryx thing

You compare it to gjallarhorn year 1? ROFL. Idiot. There is a big difference. 1. Gjallarhorn was rng, touch is not. 2. Gjallarhorn was "unintentionally" good on all bosses, touch was [b]made[/b] for the daughters and oryx fights.

Touch of Malice is only good for death singers and Oryx. It's an amazing weapon and should be required, but one or two people in a team don't need to have it, also there really isn't an excuse to not have it unless you haven't done the raid or don't have the time

Errrrr you are wrong about "no one would take anyone into a raid with gjallahorn" I completed most of my raids without having ghally (I only got it a week after HOW dropped) Don't speak for everyone.

Wow is this really going on? That's an shame. I too have the ToM but I this this is wrong for teams to do this based on what weapons players have. If someone listens and knows what they are doing, than it shouldn't matter just like you said. Beating the raid requires teamwork regardless of weapons. Bump

3 RepliesHahaha Snipers and LMGs stagger Oryx easier than ToM. Clearly you haven't run with a group that uses ToM for the Daughters and Oryx, yes it can be done with snipes and heavy but it takes literal seconds with 3+ ToM. And sure it will be ridiculous that everybody will want people with ToM for hard mode but I sorta agree only because I want to make it as easy and quick as possible because I have neither the time nor patience to spend 4 or 5 hours doing the raid.
