Just saying I just join groups, never host them but... Touch of Malice isn't hard to get at all. It helps a lot. I'd say just get like 2-3 people with one and it will be much easier.

Getting the jump on the hard mode eh? Why not just let people require what they want to require and make a group of friends so it's not required for you and your group. Is bitching on a forum easier than making friends for you or something?

I can not fathom why people don't have a ToM by now. If you've done the raid then there's no reason to not have ToM. I got mine in 2 days play and I only play about 2 hours a day (more on days off). There's not a single part of acquiring the ToM that requires a huge amount of time dedication. Especially when there are YouTube vids of the exact locations.

Two touch of malice guns can stagger oryx in less time than it takes for you to blink meanwhile you're still reloading your third clip.

21 RepliesIt can't be compared to Gjally in that you could only acquire Gjally by rng. Acquiring ToM is down to how much work the individual player wants to put in. In all honesty, if you've done the raid and plan to do hard mode then there's no reason you shouldn't have the ToM. If you don't, that's fine but recognise that people will want to do hard mode with people who have prepared themselves in a similar fashion. Simply put people will be rejected not on the basis of how lucky they are with drops but rather whether they have gone through the steps to achieve a weapon that will help in the final two phases of the raid.

Without a doubt the raid can be done without the Touch. Hell, Crota was fairly easy without a Gally. But, when it comes down to it time is of the essence in Kings Fall. Snipers can do it, but they take a long time unless everyone is on point. With the touch two people could probably flinch Oryx. It's ridiculously powerful in the raid. I'll be going in with a team that has 6 of them. No questions. It will make the first hard run infinitely easier.

The answer is simple. Stop using LFG, and either join a clan or get some friends. Coming here and bitching because people who don't know you, and you them, ask for the most efficient way of beating the hard mode in general. I have a Spindle and the Malice... Me and my group use whatever we like because we all know the others capabilities. Randoms couldn't possibly know other's capabilities, so to reduce the likelihood of failure, they ask for something that allows a bit more certainty. How can you be mad about that? Every new raid this happens... And soon enough, it stops. Forget what other people are doing, no-one is forcing you or anyone else to use LFG... It's a choice, and by now surely everyone who makes the choice to use LFG knows what to expect.

2 RepliesDid the raid last night with 6 ToM and it only took us 1 1/2 hours to knock it out. I never made it a requirement, but it's nice when everyone has one.

Dude, ill run it 290 on one of my characters along with recording showing proof that i would not be dragged but be at least the second best in the team all around for the hard raid. My exotic will only be sleeper simulant no other except for wall climbing it will be the legendary sword but still!!
