NEW QUEST. NO TIME TO EXPLAIN. Crucible details in edit if interested.
After getting the update book it for the FWC representative in the hanger. Quest is called "Not Forged in Light." Description talks about a weapon torn from space and time.
NO TIME TO EXPLAIN HAS COME.
Edit: try relogging into Destiny to get it.
[b][u]EDIT. VERY IMPORTANT[/u][/b]. You MUST pledge to FWC to do this.
EDIT. Does NOT have to be an Ultra! just a major. I went to Ember Caves until the majors started spawning before the zealot. First one dropped it
EDIT FOR QUEST PROGRESS. You must complete VoG for the next step. You have to kill Atheon for the quest to continue.
EDIT. Deej bumped. You know it's legit.
EDIT. Got it on my Titan. Light of 290. Changed from arc damage to kinetic damage. Has full auto and rewind again as it's perks. Good base stats.
EDIT. It seems like you must have gotten the cult ghost before today. If you turn it in today you must wait. Similar deal with the Sleeper Simulant I guess.
[b][u][i]CRUCIBLE EDIT[/i][/u][/b]. It performs just like Strangers Rifle. It does 22 to the body, 32 to the head. That's without any upgrades or anything into it. It performs very well (I've only done one match so far).

Very impressive to figure this out. I unfortunately won't have time to do this quest for awhile still have other exotics to get. But none the less impressive and very helpful to the community.

It's pointless this isn't worthy of an exotic slot. There's nothing exotic about it. I have learned my mistakes. The gun is actually pretty nice. I wouldn't take it over some other weapons but it's got it's place. I give this gun a 7/10 and a badass seal of approval.

Anyway, do I have to wait until the next time it's the daily to get the Not Forged in Light quest from Lakshmi? That would be idiotic. She's not giving it to me right now. Which is just annoying.
