Oh come on ! You've had a week, I only play one character and I hit rank 5 by Saturday, and that was casual. You can't leave it until last minute and then complain about a deadline. It's like saying the dog ate your homework. (Do the kids still say that? )

  • Expectations are expectations, none of which were set. I didn't have this problem personally, but I will not start hating other players for leaving it last minute. "Deadlines' as you so call it work both ways. Twitter is not a legitimate source of communications for a video game on either xbox or ps. Just as grimoire isn't a legitimate story telling device.

  • I personally disagree with your comment regarding twitter. it's a fully recognise communication tool. However I do think anything on twitter should be requoted on the app and website. But it doesn't change the fact, that if you are waiting until the last minute then you have to be prepared to miss any deadline. It's on for a total of 166 hours...and he waited until the 166th hour to go and do his final activity. If he'd been truly bothered and really wanted an item he would have done it sooner. It feels like he's trying to make a point, that doesn't need making.

  • Perhaps he was playing games to see if a weapon dropped, rather than waste marks? Or perhaps the last hour was the only time he could play? Again a deadline works both ways and people have their reasons for waiting. Twitter is a communication tool, however, not when you want to warn people of a change in a game that will occur within hours, when clearly not everyone uses twitter. Exceptions were that it would run until reset, twitter is not a legitimate source to let your whole customer base know of a change in already established plans. They have a website and an app with access to a forum. They also have the ability to post messages in game upon login. If you can't empathise at all you must hate humanity. Or you're just a Desticle/bungie can do no wrong type of character. This is not the first instance of lack of communication, and will not be the last. Threads like this are necessary for Bungie to learn from mistakes. Which they do make by the way.
