Rebalance pulse rifles.
Everybody should be able to agree that pulse rifles are the best weapon class to use right now. Things like the hawksaw, bad juju, smite of merain, and red death are the most used guns in destiny as of right now. And with the right perks a gun like hawksaw, which is supposed to be a 3-4 burst, can two burst somebody. Which is bullshit considering how fast it shoots.
Every time bungie does some type of "balance" somehow they always manage to make one class of weapons better than all the others, and this time it's pulse rifles. This needs to be stopped and bungie really needs to actually think about things before they "balance" weapons.

Pulse rifles are the best overall weapon to use, followed by Scout rifles and/or Auto rifles. Hand cannons are last. I've used the Last Word since the days of the Suros dominance. It needs a slight buff in range but not to what it was before. Most of the new maps seem to be catering to more mid-range shooting. I could be wrong, but that's what the maps feel like.

Nerf one Gun and another is ever so slightly advantaged. Viscous cycle.

Although I have to admit I got a Nirwen's Mercy to drop and it came with an awesome roll so I'm using it to max out my Pulse Rifle Grimoire. And FYI, there will always be one type of weapon that a lot of people use but 2.0 is the most diverse that's it's ever been and just because a lot of people are using Pulse Rifles doesn't mean they are OP.

They could tone the damage back down slightly. My Bad Juju was effective before the 2.0 buff, it would still be effective without it. Pulse Rifles were very well balanced before the update. Both low impact and high impact archetypes worked very well as long as you made your headshots.

They will. Then they're going to buff hand cannons and just keep switching and switching. Everyone will follow the highest ttk weapon or weapon group. There will never be a 100% balance so someone will always cry buff/nerf. This isn't Halo.

Hawksaw does not 2 burst. Used it exclusively to get to rank 5 in IB. you're probably getting shot by more than one person or stepped in a grenade you weren't aware of.

Perhaps instead of crying nerf this or that, you could... I dunno... ask for buffs for other things to be competitive.

The only problem I have with pulse rifles is they are the answer to everything. Close range weapon? Still works. Sniper? Pulse rifle still works. It doesn't matter what you need a pulse rifle to do it will do it no problem no matter your play style. Go into iron banner and EVERYONE is running a pulse that is most likely: hacksaw, red death, or the IB one if they have it.

Sorry but no. If the Hand Cannons were not Nerfed to Oblivion and the ARs fixed better than they were then there would be even more Variance in weapons. Pulse Rifles are popular now because they are very good weapons. Not OP. Just because they are the most used doesn't mean they are Over Powered.
