camping snipers should be teleported
Snipers that sit on the back of the map with their no skill strategy should be teleported to the middle of the map where the action is. (Maybe with half health as punishment or some poison buff)

You're right, people with heavy ammo should be killed automatically too because it's better than a normal gun. Everybody who uses a primary should be permanently banned from Crucible while we're at it.

3 Repliesi prefer to snipe, but i get up in your face with that shit. i hate people that hard scope hallways and doorways from the back of the map. they give snipers a bad name. it does not take much skill to sit at the end of a long hallway or watch a doorway for people to come through, and at the very least, double tap them. i look for primary gun fights first. that is how the game is supposed to be played, or they wouldn't call it a primary. your sniper should be a weapon you switch to, not the other way around. on the same note, shotgunning does not take any skill no matter how you do it

Yes. A long ranged scoped weapon with high impact shouldn't be used in cover, at long distances from your designated targets. I mean everyone knows sniper rifles are meant to be used 12 feet from a target with your mlg quickscope skills. I mean hell if you want to sit in the back and fire at range just use something like an auto rifle or even better, a shotgun.

2 Replies[b]Generally[/b] speaking, snipers are idiots in the crucible. They don't move around at all after scoring a kill and will hardscope until they get a super. If you get killed more than twice from the same spot it's your fault.

Posts like this are so dumb. If you can't counter that strategy I suggest you play smarter. A camping sniper is probably one of the easiest strategies to foil in PVP.

If you play enough, you'll pretty much know where they'll be on every map. There's only so many sniping spots that people use. I can't even remember the last time I was just running around the map and some guy picked me off and I wasn't expecting it.
