WHERE ARE IRON BANNER DROPS!!!
Bungie I love you guys and I love Destiny. I thought drops were now the primary source of loot? Not only are we restricted by the weapon drops we can get for some bizarre unknow reason. But You could get legendary marks quicker and buy dozens of pieces of equipment from saladin before anything drops; let alone something with the stats you want (intellect and disipline for me). its practically killed iron banner for me. Why should you keep playing after rank 5 when you have no other drops you can receive apart form a sidearm and a pulse rifle??? Granted I love both these weapons you have created but I now have no incentive to carry on playing...
EDIT: I have the boots, class and sidearm drop. I meant the other weapons salad man isnt selling lile the old iron banners

1 ReplyI genuinely believe they goofed on the loot adjustments they made for TTK. You really don't get any sort of end of game reward for strike streaks, but that's because the drops are in-strike with increased legendary drops. I'd be willing to bet that this adjustment inadvertently affected crucible end of match rewards. HOW's drop rate was perfect. TTK is brutal by comparison, and without reforging to rely on for a good roll, those drops are even more crucial. They really need to address it.

The way the notes read on the iron banner said the only drops we will get are what he is selling nothing more, after you hit rank 5 all his stock can drop. So no after you get it all there really is no reason to play the Iron banana.

rank 5 on all three and ive had 3 good drops. will continue on my main to see if it gets better after max rank.

That's a lie ib dropped the weapons it sold and the ones from previous ib had a chance to drop. Maybe next ib these weapons will drop since it will be the 2ib of ttk

4 RepliesDrop rate was better in year one in ib, I haven't seen one party crashed drop or ash factory or any other legendary's . Face it bungie the loot system got glitched or bugged like everything else in this game. There seems to be a new glitch or bug weekly Wtf

5 RepliesUnless they adjust this loot system this will be my last iron banner. Not even just loot drops, vendor gear too. Now that theyve confirmed that max light level will be 320, iron banner vendor gear is 40 levels below max. I mean come on. Its a hell of a grind and for what? Hit rank 5, grab the best available ib loot then go and grind for better gear just to infuse into it? Whats the point when you can just go and raid or grimd out strikes for an hour or two and get a full set of better gear. They really messed up with their ideas for iron banner with ttk

Consider yourself lucky. Only had two marks drop for me when I played. Only saw boots drop once for another player the entire time I played.

I got the cape in a drop. it was my only drop and I got two characters to rank 5 this go around.

Yeah the drops are bull, I made it to rank 5 and the only thing I got was a Titan mark. Marks are the only thing I seen drop for my team mates as well. I was hoping to receive anything but nope.

Agree - got to rank 5, only got a lesser version of the hunter cloak drop some 3 matches after I'd bought it anyway. No other legendary drops. Now working on my Warlock and hoping for the pulse rifle to drop to spare me some marks and give a better roll than the vendor version.

I've hammered out Iron Banner all week, hit Rank 5 on THURSDAY, and have been playing it on and off since. Know what I got to show for it? One Titan Mark, One Sidearm. OLD IB Ship. That's it... Oh, but according to Bungie, drops are supposed to be the main source of gear for IB, and Saladin is just selling things in case you didn't get specific items during the week. Frankly, they should just give him tiered gear for sale just like the other factions. Lv1: One Shader and One Emblem. (Glimmer) Lv2: Mark/Cloak/Bond. (40 Legendary Marks) Lv3: Shader/Emblem. (Glimmer) Lv4: ALL ARMOR, at standard Faction Vendor prices. (75/120 Legendary Marks) Lv5: ALL WEAPONS at standard Faction Vendor prices.(150 Legendary Marks) Then players would be able to pick and choose what they needed. And at those rates, they wouldn't get it all in one week. Problem. Solved. But noooooooooooooooo... Bungie won't do that. It'd make SENSE.

I got the sidearm at 285 and bought the cloak. Which I'm pretty disappointed in honestly. The Mantle Of Perun was infinitely better.
