Are All Players In Crucible Jerks?
Ever since taken king came out while playing crucible i've noticed an attitude change in most players such as the occasional T-bag or emote spam and also messages, at least 3 times a week I will get a hate message. Most of the time it's git guds or rekt if I lose, or the go out of the way to tell me that they reported me if I win. I've even got messages telling me to kill myself because i'm a pathetic excuse of a human being for trying hard to win a game. I don't think that there really needs to be anything done with Sunbreakers besides maybe some very minor tweeks but I sure as hell think that there needs to be an attitude change.
I know that there are people that are nice and funny and I have talked to those people, really cool guys.

*Edit 1- Dang, lot more comments than I expected but way less hostile then I thought they would be. Glad there are some cool people out there.
*Edit 2- Yea I'm starting to think it's just a portion of people in crucible so changed the title and took out Sunbreaker from the text as well.

I never like to PvP all that much due to the negative emotions that come with it, but when I do I just go in, get it done and get out. What pisses me off the most though, isn't broken supers or OP weapons, its bad sportsmanship. Teabaging and sending hateful messages, its just childish and pathetic self gratification... So keep on superin' on, just don't be a dick after you win or lose. Okay?

I like to wave at the opposing team when we first start (I'm usually the first one to die) and I'm a Titan. Not all titans are bad :)

Sometimes an emote but I never spam someone with hate massages. Why should I? That just childish and what is there to gain, nothing.

One time I was playing rumble and as soon as I saw a Sunbreaker Titan activating his super, with the new emote, I grieved and surprisingly he just waved and walked the other direction and killed my other team members. Honestly, I ain't even mad.

It's pretty simple to counter, a shadow shot cancels the super outright and it's easily possible to kill a Titan spamming hammers especially if you play as a team and focus fire on them.

I've played a Titan since I've started and I've never given anyone shit for how they play/what they use. The moment I play sunbreaker all I get is abuse, I'm not even using the Cauterise ability half the time because I like chucking sunspots in choke points. Like seriously, I'm not even good at pvp but the moment I use something people don't like all the toxicity comes through. Reminder: Sunbreaker can only survive golden gun with Max armour and solar armour build Sunsinger can also survive golden gun No, there are no infinite hammers if you seriously think that you are missing a few braincells Hell, I've been killed plenty of times during my super, it happens, I have more trouble fighting off storm caller during their super. But I'm not gonna complain, supers are temporary, my gun isn't.

What you are experiencing is the massive exodus to the new "OP THING" so all the people who didn't play titans before and used to bag, emote, or message are still doing just that but with a titan now.

It only seens like that because most scrublord hunters and warlocks have seen the power of the sunbreaker and now have switched to a titan main.

2 RepliesI was talking to some guy yesterday about this. It's not necessarily "Titans." A lot of the Titans you're seeing are players who are afraid their crutch will be taken away. There are a majority of those people in every class, they're just way more vocal then we are. Unfortunately. There are the Titans that know the super is modestly op, and those are the true Titans. But as a Titan, they know they shouldn't rely on their super. Believe me, I main a hunter and we're notoriously over represented by children and crybabies alike. But like the good ones, we remain in the shadows and let the children play.

I'm a sunbreaker titan most of the time and I honestly ashamed to be the same class as people saying shit like that. Titans should have honor, and respect, not what these people are doing.

2 RepliesThe answer is yes. As a fellow non-sunbreaker let me point out a few things that they have left out. This is just a video game and thier opinion about you doesn't matter. It takes a very pitiful person to so berate another person for no reason other than some pixels on a screen. Also if one of them sends you another "kill yourself" message report that person to Bungie, to Microsoft (or sony), to your ISP, to anyone. That kind of shit is not acceptable in any community digital or otherwise.
