I don't want it nerfed specifically I'm just saying PRs as a whole need to be brought in line with scouts. Right now the meta looks like this:
PRs, like red death,

Scouts, suros, hawkmoon, (where PRs, like red death, and everything else should be)

Maybe I shouldn't use scouts as a benchmark, but bungie said scouts are orbiting that sweet spot of just right.
Maybe I should just buy a y2 red death and hang it where I used to hang VoC.

2 RepliesThe truth is that the red death is pretty much the same gun it has always been. The only reason you are seeing more of it is because the year 2 weapons suck, and of all the year one weapons red death got nerfed the least.

4 RepliesThe red death is not the problem. The problem is all the other primary weapons are horse sh-t. All year two primary are really pos. Adding to the problem is shotguns and trying to combat them with shit primarys just doesn't work.

Yep. I really do not understand how a Pulse Rifle can outrange a Scout Rifle. It is absolutely ridiculous. It virtually destroys the niche of Scout Rifle and makes you favor one over the other. Pulse Rifles need to be tweaked slightly bit not nerfed.

They should probably reduce the recovery rate rather than automatically get fast. To allow balance. I'd probably have a decent KD but... I know my net is bad and peer to peer is a stupid thing that was implemented.

3 RepliesSo you want pulse rifles to be as useless as scouts. Bungie says they're in a sweet spot. 3. 3 of the scout rifles are viable. One is class specific. Ones from a faction. And the last was a weapon order 2 weeks ago. These are the only 3 I see. Some rare occasions I see the Touch of Malice. Never been killed by it. Since everyone is damaging themselves for a chance to kill.

1 ReplyWe need separate stats for pve and pvp. It just took Blizzard 10 years to figure that out. That way we can run around killing minions of the dark feeling strong and at the same time certain weapons arent an unfair advantage in the crucible. Everytime guns get fixed in PvP they get ruined in PvE. And the same goes the other way.

Handcannons used to be op: nerfed. Pulse rifles are seemingly op: guess what... There will always be an op weapon or weapon type just accept it and move on
